This is a Danish themed motor lodge. You park right in front of your room. Parking in Solvang seems to be free everywhere. You cannot beat the location. It's walking distance to everything. Our room was spacious (lovely loft) and quiet, with great wi-fi and amenities like pour over coffee from a local roaster. Breakfast is unusual, but clever. Your given a form where you select how many and which continental breakfast items you want, and they are delivered in a bag to your door at 8am (they do not wake you). There's DANISHES!, and also string cheese, yogurt, apples, orange juice, milk, and hardboiled eggs, and cold cereal. We packed up and had a nice breakfast at the waterfall park. There's pour over coffee in the room. The staff is great, if you need anything, just go to the office (or call).

I loved the little kinder area with the bean nag game, a teeny put put course, and a nice pool. This pool was still too cold for the kiddo but it was technically heated, kind of a bummer. We were there in November.

I liked the vibe with this hotel. The staff were really nice. I liked how they had breakfast delivered right to your room and that you could pick the time. I also loved how each room you stayed at had a different look for the building. I also liked that the beds were really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The colors inside room could be re-done a little so they pop more. The bathroom had a small shower with low water pressure. Not enough lighting in the bathroom, they had 2 lights on a timer in there, but when they were on,it made the bathroom hotter and made it feel like a heater was on. Other than that the rooms were good.

The room was spacious and well arranged. You absolutely cannot beat the location. And we like to sleep in on vacation, so we really appreciated how effective the blinds and curtains were at blocking out the morning sun.

Signs say smoking isn't allowed on the premises, but the area outside our room - and especially our stairwell - reeked of cigarette smoke. The first night we could actually smell it in the room a bit.

Very convenient, easy to find upon arrival. Staff was helpful and gave local information for local eateries and map of town . Location walking distance to most everything you plan to do. Property also offers a pool and garden area for some personal family relaxation by the pool or family games. Very peaceful at night. Get a hood night sleep in comfy beds and air conditioned and or heating . Thank you Royal Copenhagen Inn.

Breakfast small, but good, get you started while you find something a bit more hardy.

The location is a little hard to drive to at times because it is in the heart of downtown Solvang but in terms of walking around it's amazing. There was a restaurant across the street with live music on Friday and Saturday night that was a lot of fun. Definitely one of my best trips to Solvang in terms of home-base location.

There were only two times that traffic made it hard to get to our lodging for driving but that's to be expected and it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be.

Loved that we had a handicapped parking spot right outside our door. The breakfast was a treat. It was relatively quiet for a downtown location.

The only thing we didn't like was the water pressure in our shower was very low. It was hard to wash your hair and get the shampoo out. Felt like I was wasting water by staying under shower longer than I normally would just to get my hair rinsed good. This one thing would not deter us from staying here again though.

So conveniently located to the downtown village in Solvang. We were able to browse all the shops and return to our room several times throughout the day to drop off items we purchased.

The only suggestion would be to equip each room with a microwave as we could not reheat leftovers from restaurants we visited.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. There was plenty of parking for hotel guests on site and close to all of the rooms. The hotel is located very close and within easy walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. I would recommend this hotel to others and to those with small kids.

The breakfast was very limited and only consisted of small individually wrapped type items. The hotel staff delivered it all bagged up and right to your door in the morning, which was nice, and it seemed appropriate for the hotel's current hygiene protection measures. But it was not enough to feed a large family with little kids and we needed to get an actual breakfast elsewhere after checking out. For future guests, I would simply recommend contacting the hotel ahead of time to check about breakfast availability if you are planning on eating at the hotel. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and it was a very nice stopping point for our travels.

Check in was fast and easy. The staff was friendly and professional at check in and check out. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The location is close to shops, and excellent restaurants. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helped make our stay comfortable by providing whatever we needed.

The coffee was ok. It is a pour over kettle and, for 2 of us, it wasn’t enough coffee and was too much work.
