Breakfast was pretty basic, but free so I can't complain. The rooms were well decorated and they recent upgraded them, so they serve the purpose. We didn't spend a lot of time there since we were snowboarding every day. The location was good, right across the street from the bus stop and close to restaurants and bars within walking distance.
A little more variety on the breakfast, but again it's free so not bad. The one issue I had was that the snowboard lockers on the bottom floor didn't lock, so we had to put our snowboards in our room. This seems like an easy fix.

The free breakfast was a great touch, it was different each day which was good as well. The fireplace in the room kept us nice and warm, and the bed was very comfortable. The room had both a microwave and a fridge which allowed us to heat up basic meals, and store drinks / salads etc.
The shower was pretty dated, the bath tap was falling off the wall, and the shower head wasn't all that great. replacing with a nicer head, even with a removable shower head would be a low cost upgrade to improve this easily. The inn is also pet friendly, which we love, and met a few very cute dogs whilst there, however directly under us was a party of 2 with a dog that would not stop barking. They were leaving it unattended in the room and it was clearly distressed and poorly trained. Having the staff address this and be a little stricter with pets would have improved the quality of our stay. They were also allowing it to pee on the snow directly between the rooms and reception, which is pretty poor. This isn't directly fault of the hotel though.

As one of the more affordable places in Mammoth Lakes, I came with no expectations, but ended up returning here twice during my holiday. Great location if you come without a car: restaurants, bakery, sports shops within walking distance, town trolley stops nearby, so the rest of the town is also easily accessible. The room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast great. They also held my resupply bag while I was out hiking in the wild. Will consider returning in the future.
The room may be "teenie-tiny" by American standards, but coming from Europe I had no complaints. May be a bit tight for two.

I booked the teeny room and it was perfect for just one person. The bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable I was very pleasantly surprised. The wifi was a little finicky from my room, but was able to work from the "lobby" area where the wifi was strong. Which I didnt mind because the lobby was quite cozy with large couches, complimentary coffee, and a fire going.
The breakfast was ok. They had scrambled eggs with chorizo and potatoes which was delicious with the homemade salsa! But I do wish they had fresh fruit rather than a bowl of canned fruit salad. Additionally they only had a bag of cheap white bread. It would have been nice to have another option of bread like sourdough, wheat, or rye along with a choice of bagel.

The room was nice, and the hole place looked cozy. The checkout was fast just leaving key in a basket.
I arrived after 9 PM so I had to do a self-checkin. I could not find an envelope with my full name on it so I took one that had the same first name as mine but different surname. The room was different from the one I booked. I was not sure if the room I got was actually mine or someone will ask me to get out that night as the envelope with the key did not had my name. I also had issues finding the room as it was the only one that had access through the lobby which was locked, so I had to figure it out. An explanation in the envelope would have been good. Breakfast was not great. Little options.

Cozy little room, large private terrace (not very clean though, chairs all dirty), comfortable large kingsize bed, TV with several movie channels, nice fridge, very friendly and helpful staff (Patsy), plenty of restaurants closeby, free coffee in the lobby, breakfast included, jacuzzi available, quick checkout (you just leave the key in a basket)!
No Smart-TV, too many stairs and no elevator (exhausting if you have a heavy suitcase), old and uncomfortable shower, several things broken or not at modern standard anymore (fridge doorhandle, window, toilet paper holder, shower, lamps), no toilet brush... Can't say anything about the breakfast, because I preferred to sleep longer...

The room we got (room 17) was huge and offered welcome surprises at every turn, after the navigate the entry steps you are welcomed into a huge living space with a TV to match (must have been at least 75-inch) and plenty of channels to choose from. Very high ceilings and massive windows offer heaps of natural light and a nice view (especially if it was winter). A large main bedroom and large bed (queen size) with built in cupboards that had extra blankets and pillows. The massive couch in the living room can act as another bed and can easily fit someone who is 6ft plus. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table that fits 6 people. From the living area that is a ladder that goes up into a shallow attic area that has a double-mattress for additional sleeping quarters (also has a mini-foosball table upstairs!). Bathroom was old but in good condition and clean, but the extra bonus (especially for families) is that it had a washing machine and drier which was fantastic for us to do a load of washing halfway through our 2-week trip. Location was very good as you a situated behind a strip of shops, restaurants and cafes so you can just walk 3 - 5 mins and access some great eats. The hotel did offer a breakfast as part of the room rate but I slept in and missed it.
There is a steep set of about a dozen stairs as you entire the room, so be prepared to lift those heavy bags up top.

The staff here are wonderful. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Each breakfast was hot, complete and filling. The property seems a little dated, but the price was right. My room was sufficient for one, but it was really small. Had my husband been here, there was not enough room. But I had a nice mountain view from my window. The room was clean, quiet, and I felt safe. I enjoyed the hot tub, and it felt private in the afternoon. It's a good location, and the town has a wonderful free shuttle service. Yes, I would stay here again.
The room was really small. The gas heater was unreliable, but the electric space heater they provided worked much better.

Room was nice, and priced great in comparison to similar options in the area. The tiny room is great for a solo traveler and maybe even for a couple. Breakfast was nice, and great in comparison to the fact that other options do not offer breakfast. Location is quite good, couple of minutes walk from the red line.
Lamps were kind of old and their on/off mechanism was already tired, so it was hard to turn them on/off.

Easy to walk to food.
The hot tub was cold 4 of the four times I wanted to use it. Very disappointing. They should keep it hot all the time. Came off the mountain and wanted to soak and it was cold twice! Because of the location of the hot tub loud groups were there and disrespectful with loud voices you can hear everything so there is no early rest it was loud until 10pm
