The room was bigger than I expected. The shampoo and conditioner were a pretty good quality. It lathered up very well and didn't dry out my scalp like other accommodations bathroom amenities. They provided 2 complimentary water bottles for us to have. They had a tiny microwave and the bed was really comfortable.

The area that this accommodation was in did not match the vibe of the room. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it did make me question whether or not I was in the right place. When my partner tried to get some ice, she had some difficulty finding the ice and ultimately gave up. The snacks provided are not complimentary and they come with a little card that you can use to mark off what you eat. When we arrived, the card was already marked up so I was afraid that we would get charged for something the previous guests ate.

Our stay here was amazing, and we will definitely be back. We stayed in Room 9 which is right outside the courtyard with an adorable wood basin style hot tub, nice amount of seating, and a nice fire pit that we made use of every night. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we slept well. Even though the property is on PCH, the rooms are very well insulated and you can’t hear a thing. We didn’t hear any neighbors either, probably the quietest room we have ever stayed in. The room had a small fridge which was adorable, there were snacks available for purchase. a Keurig, and cute retro finishes. The owners were very communicative and friendly. they provided coffee on some mornings and offered late check out for us. We loved that we bring our dog, the hotel is very pet friendly. There are also bikes and surfboards to use if needed. The location is very nice as it is right in the middle of downtown Oceanside and Carlsbad Village. It is an easy walk to both locations and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The beach at Cassidy St. it all rocks, so travel down further if you would like a sandy beach. Everyone around the location was so friendly and there is a cute grocery store right across the street. Parking is ample and off the street which is a huge plus. We will definitely be back for another stay!

There were a few things that were more of an inconvenience than a dislike. The bathroom didn’t really have anywhere to put toiletries and the lighting in the room was pretty dim as there is not a lot of natural light coming into the space. The room had four large drawers in the closet area but two would not open and one was full of items for the room, so there was not a lot of space to put away clothing. The nightstand drawers were also full of items so those couldn’t be used either.

I stayed here for my birthday weekend. Looks just like the pictures (it’s so cute!) and they were even able to switch me to a room with a patio last minute. Steve is so kind and helpful. Even though the check in is contactless, there’s great communication if there’s anything you need/if you have any questions. Loved the hot tub! There’s coffee and donuts on the weekend too. Overall great place to stay and it’s close to everything!

The location is great. Nice hot tub and helpful supplies like coffee maker and fridge. Tastefully decorated and nice touch that bikes are also available.

There is no lobby to hang out in, but if the weather is nice it's not an issue. The picnic tables and fire pit and hot tub are great, as long as partygoers respect quiet times. :)

From the moment we drove into the car park of the green room we were so excited. The sky was purple, orange and pink and the sun was setting. We didn’t have to see any staff as checkin is done entirely by yourself - with a code sent to your mobile phone. When we opened our door to our room it took our breath away. Simple, clean, cosy and the texture of everything blew us away. We wanted to stay forever and we wanted to design an entire home like the room we had. Number 9 - my fav number 😍

Everything was perfect. The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to leave.

We loved how easy check-in was, the free parking right next to your room, free WiFi, the hot tub, free bicycles, private patio, walking distance to restaurants and bars, comfortable bed and plenty of quality towels, pillows, etc. Our room was a small suite and came with everything we needed.

The TV was a little small but it was fine.

Small, cute and cozy hotel. We found it comfortable and within walking distance from the beach and restaurants. We also loved your very soft towels. We truly valued the 11 AM check out time and the coffee and doughnuts.

Having a quiet time posted by the meeting area since some guests need their sleep. Our bathroom door needed WD-40 to slide properly.

The room has no upper floor, this is a bonus as no upstairs foot noise. Walls are brick, another plus on the noise levels. Parking is located right beside the cottages for easy access. Place was clean and A/C was good.

Lack of table and chairs, even a small round table with a couple of foldable chairs would have been great. There is an iron, which is a plus but no ironing board. Would have been great if the blinds had 2 shades, sheer and blackout. Right now it only had blackouts which is good, but because the windows are low, privacy needed them to be closed all the time. If it had a second sheer layer, one could use the sheer to let light in but still have some privacy during the daytime.

This hotel was so cute! Perfect location in Oceanside/Carlsbad

The hotel had a camp ground feel that, but for the location, was more like clamping. The room had a Carmel feel, and was clean and renovated very well. Rating of 9+ was appropriate for the room. With a better location, it would have been a 10.

The Green Room is on a busy street, although the street noise in the room was minimal. No real services to speak of, but room was well supplied with a good coffee machine.
