The location was great, the staff overall was very friendly. Initially, they gave a terrible room, very far on the outside corridor, terrible view, I let them know if there was something else, since I was going to be there a whole week, they instantly accommodated me to a better location/view. The room was bigger then expected and nice, clean and the bed was comfy. The walls a bit thin, I could hear the TV from the room next door. Their AC/Heater unit worked great. Shower was good, good water pressure. The staff at their little Bistro was super nice, the food was pricey but tasty. I ate there as few times.

At some point the TV Remote was not working, I let them know and they said they would send someone and never did, I managed to make it work myself. I ran out of toilet paper (my fault had the disturbed sign) I called and they asked me to come down to the reception and I did and there they told me they did not have any there; they did send someone to my room a few minutes later...so I had to leave my room for nothing!

Within walking distance of some great restaurants and kitschy shopping district.

We were there for a soccer tourney and I chose the hotel because they were supposed to have breakfast available, but they were out of everything the entire time we were there. Only one piece of equipment in the workout room was functionality. Everything else was taped off with yellow caution tape.

The location was great. We were upgraded by you and the hotel gave us some money off in the end as there was a lot of noisy refurbishment being done at the hotel and there was no access to the pool. However everything else was great and we will return.

The noisy refurbishments, but we were out during the day and we did get a discount from the hotel as an act of good will. The room was enormous and very well appointed. This is the first time we have stayed in a Marriott hotel, apart from an overnighted at Heathrow and we were very happy with what we found.

We stayed just one night on the first day they were open. This facility formerly operated as a La Quinta Inn but has been fully remodeled. Interior decor modern and rooms well-appointed which one would expect of a Courtyard. As far as we could tell (we didn't eat in the cafe) everything seemed to be going smoothly.

One thing that was not in service was charging stations in the parking garage for electric vehicles (not yet installed as of December 2022). Also, one parking garage has very limited parking and it wasn't obvious that there's another larger parking lot around the corner. Perhaps some signage had not yet been installed. There was a minor hiccup with the coffee dispenser in the lobby, which made excellent lattes but seems like it might be backed up with a long line during the morning rush.

Great location, spacious and clean room and pleasant staff.

Our heater stopped working while it was unusually cold for San Diego. The maintenance person replaced the furnace. It worked for about an hour and that was it, no more heat for the rest of the weekend.

Great location, walking distance to beach. Great patio facing the courtyard and pool.

Someone pulled the fire alarm so we had to evacuate late at night- but not the hotel's fault!

The cleanliness of the room and the staff were great. Services were great. Even late night tequests were courteously handled.

The website lead me to believe there was a restuarant/bar onsite. Which there is not. Also all the hype about being on the beach, there is no direct beach access. Finally parking is a rip-off, why are you charging $22.00 a night... because corporate says you have to. Why cant you be different. After all guest are paying $300 a night you cant throw in free parking. That was the biggest let down of the week, except for the sunday morning 6;15 fire alarm wake up. Only to be told ...oh someone pulled the fire alarm....nothing or no one said it was all clear to go back to your rooms....

This is a lovely hotel, nice an quiet and our room was the one shown in the pictures on booking.com! Pool area is lovely. The bar across the street is very stylish, classy without being stuffy. Is a short walk to the beach, although there are a lot of steps down to it!

Location was perfect. Room was very nice.

Expensive. Had to pay for daily parking, that was disappointing. The "Market" had limited selection. The one time I used the pool, there were no towels. I went in to the main desk and asked for towels, she said she would have towels brought out. 20 minutes later, no towels. I saw another employee by the pool, asked for towels. 10 minutes later, no towels. I found another employee by the pool, asked for towels. 10 minutes later no towels. I had to go back to my room dripping wet.

Everything was set up to provide comfort and ease. Nicely designed rooms and lobby. Customer service was excellent.

A great breakfast, but they added up.
