The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were not high - I always struggle with hotel's big and high pillows. Included breakfast was great: fruits, yogurt, wafflles, pastries, eggs, sausage, oat meal, cereal etc.

Nothing really - parking is not expensive, $12, but it would be nice if it were free.

The location was perfect for our trip to San Diego. This was the first time we were able to enjoy the breakfast and it was really good.

I didn't like having to pay the extra $15 for parking. The parking lot and garage is already built and with the cost of the rooms going up over 75% it makes it a little harder to decide whether or not to stay overnight. In the past we have usually always stayed overnight after our appointments to enjoy the San Diego weather and attractions, however with the rising cost, plus the extra charge for parking, we now have to determine if it's worthwhile to spend the $200 plus.

Liked the items in the bathroom (lotions, soaps, etc). Shower was nice. Fan wasn't noisy like many bathroom fans, and it worked well. The A/C worked really well and wasn't that noisy. They got me pillows without feathers, as I'm allergic. That was nice. The people were really friendly.

Construction, but that is temporary. The fridge in my room had an electronic whine and it was replaced, but the new one did the same when the thermostat was turned to the "cold" end, so we left it in the middle. Breakfast was ok, need more low sugar options. There were sausages one more than were so sweet I couldn't eat them. Perhaps add some plain yogurt without sugar? I gave it 9/10 because of the price.

Very nice breakfast with a variety of options (oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, yogurt, fruit, waffles, & different breads). It was nice to see the type of potatoes, eggs, & sausage changed daily. Room was very comfortable and I liked that we had a walk-in shower rather than a shower in a tub. Location was also very nice in that it was right near the freeway, which made getting places really easy. The staff were in general very nice and tried to help where they could.

As others have noted, it is disappointing to have to pay separately for parking. I could care less if the room price were bumped up by $12/night but it bothers me to see it separate on the bill. Though they are in the middle of a remodel, that wasn't much of an issue, though it may have contributed to the uncomfortably warm room temp in the breakfast area. The separate charge for parking, remodel, & warm breakfast room are the reason for the 8 vs 10 on my rating.

The shower in our room was faulty and we were upgraded to a newly remodeled room. That was an amazing move from the staff. The gentleman eningeer who came to look at the shower was wonderful as well. LIZ was so kind and helpful she made our stay at the hotel feel so warm. She's amazing and needs to be promoted!! I would definitely come back because she made our stay worth it.

I didn't like that the hotel charges daily parking fees I that was pretty dumb considering I've never been to any hotels that do that. Also the room we stayed in the first time before being upgraded had a lot of hair and dust they probably didn't clean well. The breakfast lounge wasn't big enough and had people standing looking for seats for too long.

Breakfast was mostly ultra processed food. Would have preferred healthier choices. Fire alarm went off multiple times in the middle of the night. It was a prank. Staff should have stopped the person after the first time. Several of the outlets in room 230 didn't work properly. For example, when I plugged in my phone, it said 5 hours to charge. When I moved it to a different outlet, my phone charged in the expected 45 minutes. Room had a strong chemical odor.

1-Parking fee never disclosed until the checkout . Too expensive already to charge for parking 2- No restroom downstairs, in the lobby . My husband tried to explain to one of the staff that he was need, because others were using upstairs. Staff person was not so polite and said he could not help. We understand hotel is under renovation, but some flexibility and good will should be offered

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn and was very impressed with the exceptional staff, workout facility, and great room overlooking the gas station and highway. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had a pleasant experience. For example, when I arrived late at night, they made sure I had everything I needed and also recommended a restuarant nearby to have dinner at. The workout facility was top-notch. It had everything I needed to get a good workout, including cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. The facility was also very clean and well-maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable. It had a great view of the gas station and highway, which was actually quite relaxing. I was able to watch the cars go by and listen to the sound of the traffic without being disturbed by any noise. Overall, I had a great stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel with exceptional staff, a great workout facility, and a comfortable room.

The room I stayed in on the third floor was a peaceful retreat, offering a lovely view that provided a moment of respite from the daily hustle. It was remarkably quiet, with no disruptions from neighboring rooms, creating an ideal space for studying without distractions. The serene ambiance of the room allowed for focused and productive study sessions, making it a comfortable and conducive environment to achieve academic goals.
