It was the cleanest room I have stayed in the past year. I have a UV light to check to make sure to check for bodily fluid and this room was perfect. Better than most houses. Breakfast was Great. Only negative was the $10 parking fee. Put this in you description. NO FREE PARKING

The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Rooms are lovely and have the added benefits of a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I also love the parking that is available and very reasonably priced.The complimentary breakfast is wonderful too.

My only complaint was the mattress seemed a bit springy to me. It is probably time for a replacement. I had a room with two beds, and they were both in similar condition. I would have liked the breakfast to still be available a little later than 10am.

The room was nice and clean. The size of room was good for our family of 4. The hotel had laundry facilities which was helpful since we were on a longer vacation. The breakfast was fine but they should have got some variety on different days. We got bored eating the same breakfast everyday. It wasn't far from the beach and was 7 to 8 minutes drive to the beach

Quiet, good breakfast, comfortable beds. Easy on/off freeway for all access to Cardiff/ Encinitas. Nicely remodeled & fresh flooring & bedding.

However, the room lighting is very poor, with only bedside lamps & one adjustable spotlight lamp. No overhead light except in the hallway. The one chair was stained, in contrast to remodeled & fresh flooring & bedding. The shower bathtub had large chips on the surface.

Buffet breakfast (included) was fresh, very good, good variety. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful with dining suggestions. There is a Mexican restaurant next to it that had recommendations.

Location was near freeway and a mile or so from beach, which was fine for us for the purpose of this trip, but may be a consideration for others.

I liked being able to digitally check in and pick my room and the digital key made things super easy as I only had to worry about my phone and not an extra item (i.e. keycard). The room was lovely, and the bed comfy, and the shower worked great!

The view from my room was the roof which is disappointing , but in this case I chose my room and I wish there was some way to tell what the view would be when selecting. Otherwise everything else was great!

There are not many hotels in Encinitas, which is a suburban/beach community. My daughter and her family reside there, but we enjoy some privacy and relaxation time and a hotel offers us a “time-out” from the family. This hotel is well located for us. The breakfast was very good.

It is very close to the highway and not very “scenic”. However, it does the job if you need a clean, convenient place to stay.

The rooms are clean and updated. I also really enjoyed the breakfast!

I think the daily $15 parking fee is ridiculous. It’s not secured parking… The person who checked in before me got hers waived and mine wasn’t. Seemed arbitrary and excessive. The $75 pet fee was a LOT also considering there are no pet perks offered (dog bed, bowls…).

I liked the pool very much and the room was dope, also the view. Plus I liked the location, cute little neighborhood and the sea isn't that far away.

The shower didn't spend much cold water and was a bit low pressure for my Swiss standards. Also my room was huge but didn't have a real sofa like my friend's smaller room had. But that's just complaining on another level, I still liked it very much. 😉

The rooms were immaculate and well-maintained. Incredibly modern and clean shower in the king suite bathroom. There was personalization on the TV screen with my name, which I found to be very welcoming. Had absolutely no issues with how well the room's upkeep was—it's extremely noticeable that they go out of their way to please their guests.

Honestly, there wasn't much I didn't enjoy about my stay. If I had to be super nit-picky, I'd say it'd be really nice to have a few vending machine options throughout or at least in the lobby area. Having more variety for snacks and drinks could also just put this place at the very top over other great hotels in the area and in general. Not a deal breaker, but something to think about. They do offer some snacks you can purchase at the front desk, but the variety is rather smaller than I would have liked.
