Like the location. Very close to our destination and only a short 25 minute drive to San Diego. The rooms are clean and spacious with large balconies (some with a great views of the Pacific (and amazing sunsets).

The hotel is old…..could use some updating or renovations. The traffic pattern into the facility is awkward. The first two times we stayed here….missed the entrance that climbs up the hill to the hotel.

Friendly staff, The breakfast Except they were out of decaffeinated tea Also, the room was out of soap in the bathroom sink area and in the shower Dispensary area when I say so I mean in the bathroom area they had a choice of soap and lotion. The lotion worked, and in the shower they had hair conditioner and body. the body was empty

The housekeeper was profession. The room was immaculately cleaned EACH day--unexpected bed care along with fresh towels and soaps etc.

Your entry was UNLIT at night on busy Encinitas Blvd and impossible to find even in the daytime on our first attempt to locate the driveway. The McDonald's staff nearby had no clue to help us. Train staff to clean the white signage (poor corporate choice of new colors) and to turn it on and add more wattage. Thank you

The room was nice and big. The mattress was comfortable and our room was very clean. The breakfast room was very clean as well. The staff were all very friendly and nice.

It was cold and there was no comforter, just a sheet with a thin blanket. My husband doesn't like to sleep with the heat on, so I was COLD. I asked for a comforter and was given another blanket for our second night, but it wasn't enough. There were a few things in the room that needed attention: the switch on the sink light was missing the cover and the screen door's plastic strip was peeled off and hanging. Other than that, the room was very clean.

Some worn down area I. The room that’s not been taken care of. Rusted out bathroom door frame, tile chunk taken out of floor. Microwave didn’t work m.

This is my second time staying, and I appreciated its location & spacious/ comfortable room. The pool is nice as well.

Perhaps more variety in breakfast choices throughout the week.

The kitchenette served us well. Nice size refrigerator for our food and beverages.

A little better stocked kitchen with utensils and dishes would be helpful. Sliding door kept sticking.

The location was great. Close to shops, restaurants, and nightlife if you choose. The room was large with a balcony. Plenty of space. Didn't have time to make it to the pool, but it looked nice!

The structure is older. The HVAC unit in the room is a bit loud. Parking and room access are mostly through the parking garage. The garage has low clearance.

I liked the view. The bed was comfy. I appreciated the request for the room location.

Cleaning should have been more before I entered. Bathroom window and patio door handles needed repairs.

It’s not perfect but it was a comfortable, peaceful and an easy stay. The room was spacious, well set up and clean except the floors are a little sticky. I wouldn’t bother with their breakfast the neighborhood is filled with better options. The location is excellent! Parking was very easy although $10 a night I was only there 2 nights so no biggie. Would stay here again and found the staff helpful and accommodating. I arrived an hour early for my check in and she let me check in early because it was available. Very easy check in and check out. The only thing I found true from the few bad reviews was the dirty floor issue. Otherwise it’s a pretty good stay and a good value.

The pool and jacuzzi area could be nicer, the floors could be clean and not so sticky. Breakfast could be better quality.
