Our room was more spacious than we expected and had a wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean from the living area and balcony. The room was tastefully decorated and furnished, and the furniture was comfortable. Everything worked. Breakfast, while not fancy, was very good. The coffee is excellent! There are indoor and outdoor seating options for breakfast. Restaurants and shops on Prospect St. are just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Some aspects of the decor, such as the wood trim on the bathroom mirror and the refrigerator shelves, were a bit worn and "tired". More fruit and a greater variety of pastries and breads would improve the breakfast.

I liked the room size, view, how clean the room was, and the size of the bed. I liked that when our TV wasn't working, the staff came and tried to figure out the issue.

Our TV in the room didn't work and the bathroom was only big enough for one person at a time. With the cost of the room, you figured parking was included, but it wasn't.

- Great location, just across the street from the ocean and very close to the town (bars, restaurants, shops) - The one-bedroom suite was so spacious and comfortable with a queen bed + a murphy bed in the living room (the little things like the free chocolates on the bed added a nice touch) - The bathroom came with really nice toiletries that didn't dry out my skin/hair - The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave, fridge, stove, electric kettle, coffee-maker etc.) if you prefer to cook your own meals - They offer free unlimited sodas/pop, water, cookies and chocolates, as well as complimentary buffet style breakfast - They also offer free onsite parking and laundry services - Balinese decor throughout the grounds, lobby, and rooms All in all, great value for money (especially by North American standards where everything costs extra)

- The room had a bit of a musty smell as we entered, which went away after the first day (maybe we just got used to it?), but overall I felt that the room could do with a good deep clean - The bathroom is very small and shower area is open, so the water spills over to the rest of the washroom and makes the floor very wet (the shower curtains don't really work in this instance)

The location was perfect and our family suite was ocean front. Beds were comfortable and the suite was larger than we expected. It was cute and nicely furnished, the bathroom was modern and it had a good sized kitchen. We enjoyed hanging out with the fireplace and a cup of coffee. The breakfast was tasty and satisfying and the menu changed just slightly every day. It was a bonus to have complimentary water, coffee, tea and cookies 24/7. The outdoor seating on the grounds was very comfortable and pleasant too. You can tell that the property is well managed and maintained. We really enjoyed the spa-like feel and peacefulness of the property. And the staff...everyone we met was so kind and nice...front desk, bar tender, kitchen staff, and cleaning staff.

Loved the bathroom shower but the floor got wet, just make sure to use the floor mats. We also wish there was a floating shelf or a little more counter space to store our toiletries. And, we wish we had booked a few extra days.

Pantai Inn was such a lovely place that we absolutely loved! The Balinese decor throughout the grounds, lobby, and rooms, the location just across the street from the ocean, our upgraded ocean view suite, the 24 hour coffee and tea, the delicious afternoon cookies, the nice breakfasts with an ocean view. Perfect for my birthday getaway!

The only thing that was a small negative was the shower. It was a large, unique shower, but the water pressure was very low.

Loved the location, also the staff was great! We checked in at about 9 pm and the front desk women was extremely nice and inviting. She checked us in fast and walked us to our apartment showed us everything. The complementary breakfast was good and the kids loved it. The complementary drinks were also very helpful. Saved us from having to keep the fridge stocked or running to a local grocery store and let us enjoy our time on the beach and in the area more.

Only thing I would have to say it would be nice to change would be find a way to keep the seagulls away from the breakfast outdoor sitting area if you lean back in your chair or turned away for a half a second, the seagulls will jump on the table and grab your food right away. I understand this is the natural area for Birds, but there was someway to help deter that would be nice

Room 201 had a marvelous view of the coast, including the tide pools and waves crashing against the cliffs. It came with a full kitchen as well. Excellent selection of breakfast foods, with many hot items and a dining area with a sea view too.

Parking was cramped and came with an extra $25 charge. Bathroom was a bit small for 4 guests to share and the shower curtain wasn't quite enough to keep water from getting all over the floor.

This is the most beautiful beautiful hotel if I ever stayed in! Attention to detail, the friendly staff, my heart was so happy just walking into my room! I could see the ocean from the couch, never imagined having a fireplace inside my room!! My daughter and I felt like princesses!!! The only downside is the shower flooded the bathroom, and it always felt slightly damp in the room. A little bit of a bummer to pay separately for parking but this seems pretty standard in a lot of hotels. And the parking was super super convenient to my room. I absolutely would love to stay here again and again, didn’t want to leave.!!

The location by the beach, seals, park, oceans view and shopping is perfect! It's a very short walk to shops, food and to visit the seals. The complimentary breakfast is an actual breakfast and truly adds to the value. Additionally, they provide complimentary water and cola any time of day or night along with cookies through the day...have to grab the cookies quickly though. The way the rooms are situated gives you the feeling of privacy because most are stacked on top of each other with private entrances rather than a hotel side-by-side arrangement. This style also allows for windows all around.

I can appreciate the attempt to modernize the bathroom, but the design of the shower is terrible with no real barrier to keep water from splashing outside the shower and the water pressure is almost non-existent! Additionally, the carpet is old, and I wonder how frequently it is deep cleaned. There is no smell, and it does feel clean, but carpet just traps everything, so it makes you wonder.

We stayed in the superior family suite. It had all the comforts of home. We had three adults and two children. The suite worked well for us. Breakfast is included and had the foods of a Continental breakfast, as well as eggs, potatoes, waffles, and more. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was walking distance from shops and restaurants. It was across the street from the ocean, ands easy to cross that street.

We had to leave early and missed breakfast the second day. It opened at 7:30. It seems a better tie would be 6:00 to 6:30.
