The courtyard and pool were beautiful with a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The room was large and slept our family of six (this is a rare find in hotels, usually we need two rooms) Breakfast had quality items and good coffee

The hot tub was broken for a few of the days. Not a big deal! But it was an evening highlight to chat with other travellers in the tub. The nights it went from warm to hot were manageable but then it was just cold the last two nights, which was disappointing. Really just a minor complaint though! The pool area was awesome. A sign on the tub would have been a good idea, that it was cool or out of order.

The room was well appointed either nice art and good bedding. The hot breakfast was yummy. It had a beautiful pool and hot tub that I did t get to enjoy due to limited time

The bathroom was a little small

Breakfast was great for free. The location was PERFECT. A nice little walk to the beach and easily walkable to local restaurants. Short drives to La Jolla hot spots. The grounds were very well kept for a hotel of this stature.

The suite itself was pretty small. For a family of our size (5 people), it's nice when hotel suites have a true separate room, but this one was more of just a big room.

Pool area was great.

Staff: lady at the front desk with pink hair could really improve her attitude. She was not friendly and when we requested to extend our stay, she seemed annoyed. When ever we walked by her she would be frowning. Other than her, the other 2 gentleman that worked the front desk were absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! Breakfast employees also kept the area pristine!!!!!

We would definitely stay here again. The location is great. I was in the hot tub at night, and you can hear the calming waves. So peaceful! Walking distance to the beach. The staff is great, and they do a great job keeping everything clean and ready for their guests. The beds are firm and comfy! The breakfast is yummy, too! We had a great time and know exactly where we will stay next time we are in SD!

The location was perfect. A short walk to the beach! Breakfast was a bonus too, we needed the fuel every morning to get our days started. Also, the bonus parking was ideal and overall this hotel was the perfect stay for my family.

Actually nothing. If anything, I wish there was closer restaurants within walking distance. There are a couple, but I think a few more choices would have made the hotel stay absolutely perfect.

Everything was spot on

No plates spoons or kitchen stuff in the kitchen area but it’s not a major thing overall great place. Only minor issue is I could tell the pull out bed hang been cleaned there was crumbs/ dirty on the bed and stains bed sheets

We really enjoyed the hearty breakfast; there was something for everyone and the offerings switched up between the days so we got some variety. The layout of the hotel was great, as was the proximity to the beach. Can't beat the value! It is family friendly but not super loud despite kids playing.

Breakfast was great with good hot and cold variety. Free parking was really nice, location was good, and the pet fee was very reasonable!

Though a floor fan was provided, not having an a/c unit in the separate bedroom made the room a bit humid and uncomfortable in the early night hours. The bedroom itself was also quite small for the queen bed. The bathroom fan didn't work well, and though there was a small window, it opened to the other room's walkway making it a major privacy deterrent. Also the half glass shower "wall" caused some water clean up even with the floor towel.

The room was very clean and comfortable.

The shower was lacking water pressure, the noise from the pool was extremely loud. Also the noise from the next door room was quite loud.
