We had a newly remodeled room with a cute beachy boho vibe. The bed was very comfortable and it was the perfect place to be for our Solano Beach visit. We walked to Fletcher Park, ate at a couple of nice restaurants up the street from the hotel and were glad to have a lovely accommodation near the places we needed to be!

The safety bar in the shower was on the wrong end of the shower stall - nowhere near the opening to step in and out of the shower, so was no use at all.

Room was roomy and everything in it, apart from some lighting, was functional. Complimentary breakfast was very good.

The building is ‘tired’ and could do with a refresh. The lighting in the room was pretty bad, but worst was the trash strewn around the area outside our balcony. However, this was not on their property (it was part of an Enterprise car rental next door) and the staff are going to address this. Also, there is some renovation going on which will hopefully brighten up the place.

The room was clean plus the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The breakfast location was a really nice area--spacious, with a high ceiling and very inviting. It had one big group table that was cool. Would make a good family game table as well during non-breakfast hours. I didn't have time to eat, so I actually don't know what breakfast tasted like. The location was excellent. You can walk to the beach. It's literally around the corner. There is also a good Italian restaurant literally steps away.

The curtains didn't close and there is a power station right outside. I had light glaring into my eyes all night. You can hear the cars from the Freeway.

Breakfast, room and location. I really liked our suite, we first got a regular room but it didn't have enough storage space for a week stay. Breakfast is very good too. I brough my own GF bread and I was set. Nice selection of GF options other than that.

The hallways' carpet was worn out. The hallways and common areas were not updated and that made the hotel look older and dirty. I believe they are going to update the hotel in the next few weeks, though.

This location was great! The building was a little older, but it is being updated. It was clean and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We would gladly stay again.

Room was remodeled, wood floor could walk to restaurants around the area. Very close to the beach. Breakfast was good. Can’t forget the cookies.

Still construction going on, but wasn’t a big deal also Spa seemed over chlorinated

Hidden parking fees. Was given notice two days before check in so even if you wanted to cancel, it was to late. It’s a motel or a motor lodge. Of course you’re going to have a car. Especially this motel. It’s totally away from any airport or bus station etc.. Then when I complained about it , the desk person said that the other motel down the street charges $25/day to park your car. Like this makes it a good deal. Nobody likes hidden fees.

Hotel is located near to beach and some excellent places to eat. Breakfast at the Holiday Inn was good with a good variety of foods available. Staff were helpful and friendly

Unfortunately, our room had a strange odour, a bit musty. This didn't improve with doors open. Some of the areas of the hotel look tired

Great location, walking distance to the beach, trendy restaurants and shops. Comfy room for the most part. Bathroom stocked with plenty of shower supplies. Have stayed here twice now. Staff and crew visible and available.

Very nice to provide a warm breakfast, basic choices of oatmeal, eggs, bagels, etc., no problem, except quality, taste could improve. Also can't draw curtains shut, they're nailed in place. Not sure if it's just the room I've stayed in.

The location of the hotel was Perfect for us. Many parking Spaces along the hotel

No warm water the first two days. They fixed it on a sunday, which was great
