Love the junior suite and it's proximity to the water, you're right on the front and you could literally not ask to be closer. Spectacular views, spacious room, and wonderful staff! The amenities here were great and super convenient, the restaurant was in the center of the entire hotel and very accessible from all angles with a fantastic staff. I will gladly come again, maybe with some strategy to wait for the best pricing but the experience was worth the high dollar!
The toilet was a little low for handicap accessibility and for the elderly. My folks had a hard time with it but that's not something you can fix overnight.

Only ate at the bait shop and it was excellent. Also got coffee and hot chocolate from Kathleen at the gift shop. She was beyond helpful to our entire family!
We gathered outdoors at the tables by the pool so the kids could swim and we could spend our last night together. We ordered drinks and food from the restaurant and it was all wonderful. Our waiter brought blankets and multiple trips with food and drinks. The kids wanted pizza and as it was being served the waiter came out and said we couldn’t have outside food. We were the only group there at that time but 3 of our 10 families had to leave with that. First, the manager should have come out and told us. Secondly there was no where on the grounds where we could gather other than there and it was sad that part of our group had to leave. It left a rather sour note on what had been a wonderful vacation spot.

The location right on Mission Bay is attractive and has a fun vacationy feel. We took an upgrade to a Junior Suite with a patio facing the bay- good choice. Outrigger canoes, kayaks and fishing boats pass are in view. Nice big pool. The hot tub’s water is actually hot. Our room was very clean. Two new water bottles every day, coffee bar stocked. Those little things count for us. Sea World is a 1 mile walk away. It probably takes just as much time to walk there as it does to find a parking spot at SW!
I called the hotel line before booking our stay to ask if the hotel hot tubs were open and running because in our hotel stay past we’ve arrived to have hot tubs not working. They said yes but when we arrived they told us one of the pools and associated hot tubs were closed for remodel. Our stay was during holiday week so I thought the pool area would be crowded. It wasn’t.

The Firefly bar and restaurant were very good, with friendly helpful servers. Happy Hour was good value and the dinner food excellent. The rooms are motel style and appear to have benefited from a decent quality refurbishment (apart from the soundproofing- see below), Great location with its own Marina and good access for a whale watching trip across the road.
The walls are thin and the sound proofing is poor. We could clearly hear the television in the adjacent room and could almost have joined in their conversation. Noise did stop around midnight and we were able to sleep.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Unlike some hotels, the room was cleaned daily. We had a beautiful bay view. From the balcony and also the seating in our room, we could watch the boats, birds, and occasionally a sea lion go by. The large salt water pool was delightful and warm. The jacuzzi was nicely hot with strong jets. It is near Sea World but there was no additional noise or traffic from that. I tried the Thai wings at the Firefly restaurant and they were delicious. Service was friendly. The AC worked well-it was 95 degrees outside the weekend we were there!
The shutters over the sliding glass door did not darken the room adequately when the sun came up. There was a slight mildew smell to our room. It was strange that there was no pool bath. You would have to go to your room or the hotel lobby. There ARE ice machines. There were no signs directing you there. Rooms next to the marina were noisier.

What I liked best was kayak rentals right there at your door. Hotel property borders a park right on the waterfront, lots of people BBQing, picnicking, playing sports, and having fun, and you can take long walks, bike scooter etc along the water. It’s a really lovely location for relaxing for a while. Our room had a view of marina, which was obviously beautiful. Room was really clean and the cleaning lady was so charming and sweet. Restaurant had cocktail deals almost if not every day. Lobby had free melon infused water, delicious. Gated parking with card access
The location is fantastic, but it’s a little remote, so outside of boating and hanging out at the pool and restaurant, there isn’t much to do nearby. Our room was cramped. Pool was not heated and so really cold at the time, spa was hogged by drunk/drinking people (which was not allowed) Restaurant was a little too expensive for what it offered. Promised games selection was very, very limited. They basically only had cards.

The location was beautiful. Staff very friendly, accommodating and willing to help with everything. When we arrived we were put in a different room to what we expected, as we didn't have the harbour view we had paid for. We stayed the first night in this room but I did query this the next day and we were moved to the correct room without any issues and we were over the moon.
Couldn't get food past 9pm from firefly bar which was a shame as pool stayed open until 10 so having food available until this time would be better.

The location is amazing and It is conveniently close to everything and perfect place for relaxing and enjoy the beautiful Mission Bay. There is walking trail and runner and biking friendly. Property is so beautiful! |Check-in was wonderful! The staff at both the hotel and restaurant were super friendly and nice. The breakfast was great specially the omelet. The room was specious, clean and so comfortable. I enjoyed a lot.
Their restaurant's menu was limited and pricey.

Nice room with fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Location was great and the Marina was very nice!
The first receptionist that welcome us was not very friendly and cold. Our room was not ready and we had to come back later but there are nice manners to say that. a little deception on the room with Marina view. The hallway to all the rooms was just in front of the room window so we need to close the shutters down, so no real marina view as expected. The Parking price quite expensive USD 29 per night, a budget if you stay several days

Brought our ski boat, put in water at boat ramp adjoining the hotel property, rented a slip at the hotel. Very convenient! Location convenient to ski beach, Barefoot Bar, etc. Outdoor/indoor restaurant next to swimming pool pretty decent, not great. Staff all pleasant, We were originally placed at the absolutely farthest from the central area (2 rooms). We immediately called the front desk, stating we are 82 and 85 and they gave us rooms much more convenient. We had to wait for one room, but we were out on the water, so no problem. Beds super comfortable, microwave, refrig, safe.
Would be nicer if they beach access, but having a boat slip was better for us. Bathroom outdated, but very clean.
