My family and I stay at less expensive motels/hotels as we’re more interested in the activities outside where we’re staying. For the price point and the convenience, Heritage Inn worked for us. I’ve seen the other reviews people have had with complaints of this or that but those folks really should tamper their expectations. If you want more, you should expect to pay more. The grounds are even exceeded expectations given that in that part of town and the amount of unhoused, the grounds were quiet and safe. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was adequate.

Carpet, I would say, could be cleaner.

we were in the property for two weeks and it was good on location lots of closer food places also i wanna give a shout out to the night shift crew the guys name is santiago and the long hair guy with glasses always very nice to us they need a raise

what i dont like on the property are some of the staffs that work the laundry lady i believe she is the supervisor there is very rude will check your dirty before she will give you new ones and will take her time to give you a new one! the front desk lady name rosa is very unprofessional will make you wait to get your cash deposit back they need to be retrain how to have a good customer service

This was the first time I stayed at the Heritage Inn and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was and how quiet the area. The room was comfortable and mostly carpeted which is something you don't see much of anymore. Bed and linens were clean and bathroom full of assorted towels. Parking was plentiful and well lit at night.. Also easy to get around in Point Loma for shopping and food venues. No jet noise from the airport or highway noise.

You have to go to the lobby to use the microwave since alot of the hotels are removing them completely for various reasons. Mostly the cost of electricity and liabilities for accidents from using them.

I loved the fact that all staff while I was there was amazing from check in at 2am till check out. I want to say thank you to Tywin (Twin) I may have pronounced that incorrectly. But she was amazing great attitude and assist me in every way possible she’s a great employee she deserves a raise thank you. If you need anything she goes beyond and above she’s definitely a god sent from above I appreciate everything you help me out with! I also want to say thank you to Rose she’s so kind and helped us with all our needs down to the house keeping they accommodated us and kept room clean when asked, provided us with clean towels toilet paper ,iorn with a board. I will be returning on our next trip and the remolded rooms are coming along so nice 😊 we sleep well. Will be seeing you all soon! Again thank you to the owner as well with helping with the booking as well.

There was nothing I didn’t like I loved my stay to be honest there was nothing wrong.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very near the beach and Seaworld about a 10 minute drive, can't beat the price for that. Staff was Awesome,friendly and honest!! When I checked out at 10 a.m. I forgot my expensive sunglasses and my son left his airpods in the room. Before leaving back home at about 5:30 p.m. I decided to stop by and see if my stuff was turned in. The guys at the front desk checked the L&F and there was nothing. I was about to leave when one of the guys decided to send the cleaning lady up to the room to check( he didn't have to do that) and the lady returned with my items plus my daughter's brush she left behind!!!! Thank you guys!!!!! DEFENITLY WILL BE BACK!!!

We liked everything about it!!

It was a comfortable room at an affordable price. Nice sink/bathroom/shower area. The room was pretty well lighted. The location is close to services. The person who greeted me at check-out was cheerful and welcoming.

A little bit of a musty smell (room 206). Not near anyplace one would be seeking to visit (that of course can't be changed, and it helps make the accommodations affordable). The person who checked-me in was at first a bit surly, then suddenly became nicer. Be nice all the time, if possible.

The staff are extremely pleasant and handle their business professionally, even when irrate clients pressure them.

The only complaint I have is that they do not have a free airport shuttle, but that's what Uber is all about.

The office staff are excellent. They made checking in and out smooth. They were great at getting towels or extra pillows. I saw they are remodeling rooms or at least doing construction to update them. It was a nice family friendly enviroment. I like that it wasn't an extended stay. There was plenty of parking they had a decent pool. It was a good value for a budget friendly hotel. As a treat if your room is facing the pool you will be able to see the Sea World fireworks at 10pm every night. I like that they have an elevator. There are many restaurants walking distance. Target & Ralph's minutes away. There is a small fridge in all the rooms and the sheets on the bed look new. I appreciate the rooms being clean everynight. I had no issues at all.

I didn't like that the jacuzzi was green and it was barely warm not hot enough. The layout of the rooms are outdated but it seems they are working on it. I didn't like the outlet by the bed which was connected to the light switch. I would have had a dead cell phone in the morning if I didn't check on my phone at night. It wasn't charging my phone when the lights were off. I had to plug my phone by.the little fridge.. The bathroom sink light was so dim and flickering but if you turn the room lights on everything lights up.

Value was incredible!!! The room was perfect for what I needed which was a bed in a central location and near seaworld and that was it. Check-in was quick and simple and everything was wonderful. The hotel's bathrooms have been recently remodeled and it was wonderful.

Maybe the there was trash under the furniture and a pop tart wrapper under the matress. The voltage in the room cause my changers to not appear charge slower.

The management was very understanding about our complaint, they offered us to choose from 2 other rooms and compensated us financially as well.

There were renovations going on the floor right under our initial room, we woke up to the horrendous vibration and loud sound of drilling and hammering at 8 am. We have found this outrageous.
