The location and the size of the room

Floors could have been cleaner. Noticed after I showered and walked bare footed to my room, the bottom of my feet were black 🤯

This is my third visit to this facility, and the room and staff continue to keep me coming back - especially the staff. Some reviewers complain about noise, but San Diego is home to several military installations, plus an international airport, so I expect air traffic noise. The hotel is right on a major street, too, so there is some road noise but not any more than any other hotel in the area. The room has tile floors which are very clean, as my bare feet show me. Staff is very kind, friendly, and helpful. There are abundant grocers, delis, coffee shops, and eateries nearby. I appreciate how quick it is to visit Mission Beach, Cabrillo National Monument, Liberty Station, and Balboa Park from this location.

I'm glad there was parking available a d monitored with cameras.

It smelled like mildew when I entered the hotel room.. stale smell

Don’t have a room available on the quiet side away from the street

Simple and basic. Very comfortable bed. Windows that gave good sunlight. I could hear no traffic noise. Good location to many stores within walking distance.

The hot water wasn't working when you turned the dial counter clockwise to the red mark. Somehow I discovered if you turned the dial 45° past the cold Mark, pointing straight down to the floor, you finally got hot water.

One of the best locations and central to so many conveniences like food, shopping, airport, downtown, highways, and light rail stations that go all the way up to Orange County. Amtrak, etc.. Great outdoor park down the street at Liberty Station and so many places to just walk on a nice day. One of my favorites is I can walk across the street to Sprout's market where they have a sandwich combo that comes with a bag of chips and bottle of water for only $6.00 and the "Hervey Library" top of the hill that's one of the best in the area.

Good value for money place to stay in,room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the staff were all helpful and friendly.

The only drawback is its right next to a busy road and aircraft taking off pass almost right over the hotel,the nearest transit station is Old Town Transit Centre which is a good 15 minutes walk away just turn left out of the hotel and keep walking down Rosecrans Street and you'll eventually come to it where you can reach downtown in about 15 minutes.

Location is right on Rosecrans. One of the main arteries of Point Loma and so much retail and food outlets near the building and down the street in both directions. Ralph's supermarket, Target, Sprouts, You name it. You got it. I used to live in Point Loma and that's one of the things I liked about it the most. Highways N,S,E.W all are easy to connect to and very close to the airport if you're coming in or out of the city. Parking secure and safe area at night.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. Beds comfortable and clean. Location was great for food and retail shopping. (Sprouts and Dollar Tree..) Many fast food places very close by and Ocean Beach a short drive. I used to live down the street when I first moved to Point Loma and have memories of the area which also makes me feel at home. TV and cable channels great. Heater worked perfect. Hot water and plenty of towels. Ice and office close by..
