Housekeeping was good and consistent. My rosemaling conference was at this hotel and was well set up, including the banquet which was excellent. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet.

There were a few small ants in my room, but I suspect that is a hard thing for hotels to manage when people choose to eat in the bedrooms. Had to order lunches because of the 4 day conference being all day, and unfortunately they were very expensive, typically averaging $30 plus. Wish the hotel kept lunch hours as they do breakfast and dinner hours.

The hotel was better than I thought it would be. Good location, a short walk to Old Town. They have a restaurant which serves a good breakfast. The restaurant also serves dinner (which I did not try), but they have a full bar with a Happy Hour. The lobby has a small pantry to buy snacks and drinks, and has a microwave. Room was okay, with a good TV channel selection. Also, the hotel has a laundry room, which was a nice to have. Friendly staff.

They forgot to clean our room one day, so the front desk waived our parking fee for a day.

It was everything youd expect for a hotel costing close to $200 a night... Friendly staff, great location, quiet, well kept & clean. Would stay there again! We did change room last minute, original king room was facing the highway, which may have led to more noise. They changed us to a 2x double room on the courtyard side, and there was no noise disturbance at all.

We got a 2x double bed room (last minute booking meant nothing else availabvle on quiet side of hotel) - One of the mattresses was incredibly uncomfortable - I didnt sleep at all well the first night. Seocnd night we switchd beds, which was better, but still not great. We weren't in need of breakfast, however breakfast wasnt included in the rate. We booked last minute so maybe a higher tiered rate would have included. But to be honest Id ex[pect a close to $200 per night room to include a breakfast at the very least.

Just from the entrance I could see that I was entering a quality hotel. I was greeted with two bottles of water, which was a nice and welcome touch. I wasn't just given a paper map with the location of my room. I was accompanied out to the building, and shown the door to enter and how to get to the gated parking. The cafe, sitting area by a fireplace, and small shop for amenities also felt very welcoming. Most importantly, the room was clean and quiet.

I booked through Booking.com and was quoted one price but when I went to check out, the bill was quite a bit higher. The manager needed to be contacted but the issue was resolved and the bill adjusted. That was the only issue but it did make the stay less than perfect. If I hadn't had time to address the issue while I was still there, It might have taken a few phonecalls to resolve.

The room and bathroom were large. They gave us water when we arrived. It is an easy walk to Old Town and we paid about $10 uber to get to Ocean Beach.

I was traveling as a single woman and i was in a building that was separate from the main hotel. The outside patio that had glass doors faced the street with construction. I would have felt safer in the main part of the hotel. The pool is very small and wasn’t tempting.

The customer service was fantastic with the friendly team happy to help. The WIFI was down during our stay with no solution available which made things challenging. The location was great with the heart of Old Town two blocks away.

A solution to the lack of WIFI and a decent breakfast offering (a mini starbucks on site didn't really cut it).

Located walking distance from Old Town San Diego which is beautiful. Easy access to the freeways. Safe neighborhood.

I wasn't expecting to be charged $30 per night for bringing a car. I will more closely at the fine print next time before I book.

The rooms are always great, the location is in the best area of Old Town San Diego, within walking distance of everything including restaurants.

I guess it is too much to ask to clean the rooms daily now that COVID is over, which would make the rooms nicer when staying for longer than a single night.

The location is perfect, clean room but small, beds were not very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were heated and awesome. Overall it was good.

Parking lot is 30$ a night. We stayed 3. 100$ on top of what we paid. No breakfast included etc. I think it’s a bit overpriced.

Great location! Easy short about 2 block walk to old town restaurants and shopping, so able to leave car and not search for parking. The hotel was quiet and the dining area was very nice, the staff was really friendly & the bartender was great!
