Location is fantastic. So close to Old Town and Sea World and also the zoo. Perfect for families. Had a laundry room and pool, although we didn't use either. Breakfast was great value for money and catered to both adults and kids. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Plenty of free street parking. We paid for parking on the property, but in hindsight didn't really need to.

Parking for guests staying at the property should be free!

Our stay at the Best Western in San Diego was generally pleasant, but a couple of minor issues left room for improvement during our three-night visit as a family of two adults and an 8-year-old. Another aspect that left us wanting more was the breakfast provided. While it's always nice to have breakfast included, the options were limited and not as diverse as we had hoped. A more extensive breakfast spread would have added to the overall value of our stay. On a positive note, the hotel's location and overall comfort met our expectations. It provided a convenient base for exploring San Diego, and the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our check-in and check-out processes smooth. In conclusion, our stay at the Best Western in San Diego was decent overall, but the weak internet signal and limited breakfast options were areas that could use improvement. Despite these minor setbacks, we still enjoyed our time in San Diego, thanks in part to the hotel's central location and comfortable accommodations.

One of the drawbacks of our stay was the weak internet signal. In an age where connectivity is essential, struggling with a slow and unreliable connection was a bit frustrating. It made it challenging to stay connected with loved ones and plan our daily activities effectively.

Property was exactly what we paid for and some, close to a lot of attractions and entertainment things for us to do with a 10-20 minute span from the hotel.

The walls are pretty thin, we notice that part of our carpet was damn like they cleaned the carpets but it didn’t go away. Also we had a clog issue one early morning and when we called they brought us a trash can and a plunger for us to do it… was not expecting that either.

Breakfast the young man was very attentive to everyone's needs. He kept the food full n cleaned up very quickly..

We had to pay for parking or park on the street,not a great area with lots of homeless so on the street was not a safe place but we were forced to park on street or pay 26 dollars to park. We should be able to park with our kids if we are renting a room on site with out extra fees my disable son had to walk from the end of the street.not safe.

The management staff was kind and accommodating. The food staff was very friendly and helpful. One staff member was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name but I shared my compliments with the manager before checking out. It was Comic-Con weekend in downtown SD,, and quite busy. However, we didn't feel the usual stress of overcrowdedness. The location was perfect Very close to Seaworld and the SD Zoo. Overall, our stay was great! We will definitely be back. Thank you BW SD staff for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

I wish parking was free but there was some parking on the street

Nice and clean. Very professional staff. Stood for a whole week and had no problems. The breakfast is excellent and overall a great place to stay.

We had a family of 4 and only 3 towels were present in the room. Should be prepared ahead of time instead of having to call for an extra since we reserved a few days ahead. Another thing the walls are kind of thin, we can hear the people above us. But a box fan would drown the noise

Staff was super friendly and helpful. I like the nice view of the pool and had a view to the parking lot where we were able to see our car.

It was cool we were super close to the elevator but the downside was that you can hear everyone passing by and all the talking. Also you can hear the people upstairs and their loud footsteps that was going on all night and I felt like I did not sleep at all. Also I think upstairs had a plumbing problem the following day and all the dirty water was coming out from our sink but the staff was super nice about it and fast about it to clear that out.

Breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable except for the sofa bed( my kids couldn't sleep on it because of springs that were painful to the back).

A big downside is the Laundry room. It was so frustrating that there were only 2 laundry machines and one of them was out of service, so only one machine in the huge hotel. I had to get in the line and stay up late just to finish my laundry. And it's closes at 11 pm.

Close to MCRD and airport. Right off the 8 freeway but a little confusing at the exiting area. Breakfast was good selection.

No microwave in the room. Toilet had some issues, had to call maintenance. Have to show your ID to use hotel cart. The paid parking is thru 3rd party source not thru the hotel. If you park on the street, make sure your not planning on leaving, due to it gets full.
