The grounds are gorgeous. Like a tropical oasis. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. Tidal restaurant was delicious.

The cost is a little more than I usually spend and the resort fees inflated the price.

We loved our room that felt like a bungalow with a private patio. We were so close to the water and restaurants it was perfect for us. A short walk to the front office and main pool. We loved feeding the ducks and turtles in the mornings and sitting by the ponds watching the fountain. The pool was so warm it was almost like bath water which was lovely. We rented a doubles bike and played mini golf and ping pong. Would definitely have loved to stay longer!

The restaurants and coffee house were very expensive so a slightly less pricy family dining option would have been nice. The food at the bar and grill was so good but at dinner with the kids the music was really loud and we had to go after appetizers to take the kids somewhere else as they both have sensory issues. The other restaurant seemed to be closed most of our stay so maybe that would have been a better fit if we'd had the chance. My husband and I loved our evening drinks by the water though and the music was much softer after dinner. We also wished the pool bar and grill stayed open a bit later.

Everything was great. We liked that everything was close by and we didn't have to travel far for the attractions. Our bongaloo was amazing and the access to the water for our grand daughter to play in and we could watch her was relaxing.

The only issue we had was we asked for our complete bedding to be changed due to it getting soiled. When we returned to the room I found that the bedding had not changed. The room was cleaned up and the bed made so I know that they saw where it was soiled

We liked the lagoons agree with all the birds and turtles, the beach was close, several pool choices, fire pits, putt golf, easy to walk everywhere. I liked the convenience of texting if we needed something, they were very responsive. Staff was friendly

The BEDS!! They are way too hard! My husband and I woke up with back pain every morning. The signage for the putt putt is awful! To find it and then to find the back nice was even worse. The room service food was so so. We ordered a $70 bottle of wine and it was delivered with plastic cups. I did reach out to have some wine glasses brought to us but thought they should have come with the wine in the first place. It would be nice if it said somewhere that the Cantina is only open F-S.

This place is great! It really makes you feel like you are in another place. Doesn't feel like a "hotel". The landscape, room, views, facilities, and staff were great. They offered lots to do with the family. Many pools, fun games, and during our stay they had two Easter egg hunts for the kids. The staff was friendly and quick to make needed accommodations. The Jr Garden Suite was spacious, and had lots of space for our family of 4. We were also lucky to get a room where we had a partial view of the water , it was really one of the top places we have stayed in SD.

The ONLY thing is we wish we had a broom for the room. Although housekeeping cleaned the room it still got sandy since the rooms our steps away from the sand, but that's it.

The location and the surrounding beach was beautiful but I think all of the ponds and wildlife within the community were really amazing. It is probably the most quiet room I’ve ever stayed in🥰

I did have problems with the refrigerator which was quickly remedied but do wish that room had a microwave. I also think that the receptionist should let your guests know about the room key being needed in order to operate the refrigerator and other outlets🤔

It's a great place for kids since it's safe and you can let them run around without worrying. I however don't have children.

Nothing the hotel can do, but there is a lot of road noise from much of the hotel. The rentals for any kind of water sport (kayaks etc) seemed very expensive. If you have some work you'd like to do while there, there is very limited indoor space: after the cafe closes you essentially only have your hotel room.

The grounds are beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodated special requests.

We stayed in a Bayside bungalow. The location of the property was great for our kid to run around, but the inside could use a little renovation in the bathroom areas, and a central air system would be a lot better than the windows units. It gets humid, and the room starts to feel sticky, but the AC window units smell a little like mildew. Other than that, the room is updated and beautiful.

The property was located right next to the beach and had bonfire pits available for hotel guest to use, also the hotel itself was beautiful. The main pool had a restaurant and pool was kept at great temperature. Aside from restaurant at main pool there is two additional restaurant in the resort food is deben but the views are amazing. They give you a small bag of duck food too feed the animals my son found turtles ducks and fishes. They have bikes and boat rentals available at a cost.

I didn’t appreciate that the additional fees that weren’t disclosed in the listed Parking per day cost $42 you also get charged 6% surcharge on food purchases “something about keeping minimum wage up for there employees” they also charge you a resort amenities fees $39 per day and a lot of other fees taxes it was just dumbfounding.

The property is huge well manicured & with lots of birds & places to hang out. Different pools & gazibos to sit & relax. Our premium garden bungalow was spacious & very comfortable. The barefoot bar was great for a casual meal by the marina. It’s great for anyone for a few days getaway.

It’s a bit confusing to get around as it’s a huge property but with a map, it helps. The restaurants are on the pricey side but that’s to be expected…. the food was well prepared!
