Location. Location. Location. Very nice facilty, pool & rooms/beds.

Check-in was supposed to be available at 4:00 pm, but our room wasn't ready. When we did get to our room, the cleaning staff missed garbage (candy bar wrappers) from previous guests, and the body wash bottle in shower was empty.

The grounds were very well kept and parking was easy. The food at the restaurant was very good but the service was super slow.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. Long black hairs were all over the floor. Also the light switches for the bathroom kept shutting off every 5 minutes while I would try to shower, and there was no way to leave them on until I was ready to shut them off myself. Highly annoying. Also I was on the 2nd floor and everybody below had firepits that smoked me out. Even with the sliding door all the way shut and locked, smoke from those firepits still got in my room and made it hard to breathe at times.

Excellent property and staff. We've stayed here before and every time, it exceeds our expectations. We upgraded the room to an ocean front, and it was amazing! The room was big with a separate little sitting/dining area that looked out at the ocean. Every single staff that we encountered was kind, professional, and went above and beyond. Check-in, cleaning staff, room service, pool attendees, bartender, and check-out staff were all Excellent. And the room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable!

The prices have gone up significantly. We used to stay 2-3 days. Now it's a big splurge to stay one night.

Room was spacious and my toddler had room to run around. I think we got a larger room with a large sitting area. Hotel staff was available via text and answered questions pretty quickly. All the staff was very helpful. We reserved some beach chairs and umbrellas and spent a good amount of time in the water. Pool was ok. There were various games to play in the are. Park nearby is very cute for those with kids. We were able to see the fireworks from sea world from our room.

It seemed very easy for someone not staying in the resort to get inside the resort.

There wasn’t many healthy choices on the bar menu. The fish tacos are deep fried. The pool menu could also use a boost of more healthier choices. We order chicken strips and fries- we had to ask for more sauces and salt for the fries. ( no big deal- but took a long time).

The hotel was beautiful. It was located on East Mission Bay, overlooking the water. The site was very clean. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the ambiance at the bar and the live music. It was a great stay!

I was a little intimidated by the amount of houseless people in the area, as I am a woman alone who likes to run in the mornings. I have been told that the houseless issue is a huge challenge for the people of San Diego.

The location is wonderful, beautiful view. Great area for walking or use the outdoor rentals available.The pool area is great for children as well as adults. The food at the restaurant was very good, and the outside sitting was outstanding.

I do not appreciate the recent popular pattern many restaurants are using of adding a 4%-5% for kitchen insurance coverage. I was very surprised that this hotel, which is rather expensive, would add additional charge of 5% for labor costs. If I am correct, I do not recall being a partner with this hotel, nor any other restaurant. As a business, you must consider all your costs, and not expect the customer to be involved with these extra charges, furthermore, this charge most likely, if paid, will affect the gratuity given to the server. I will not pay it, and I will not discount the 20% given to the server. Please stop this.

The pool is the best part of the property and the fireworks from Seaworld made it even better. Also I have to give a shout out to Alison Lindsey the office manager. She was very helpful in resolving issues my billing which was a bit complicated. Customer Service is top notch.

The surrounding area is too busy because it’s by the Mission Bay although if you’ll just stay in the hotel It feels private enough.

The meals at covered were amazing. Staff was very nice and friendly. Very clean. Loved how beautiful the grounds were.

Would be nice to have a free breakfast. Muffins scones, something for the price you pay a little incentive would be great.

we really like this location and we love to stay in the waterfront rooms. the rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfy. the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I love that there is a refrigerator in the room.

this time we came on a very busy weekend. too many people. the pools were overcrowded and couldn’t enjoy it. the phone system for room service was not working. it took multiple calls for someone at the front desk to answer. when we got to our room after checking in, it hadn’t been serviced yet.
