Location Location...near very good Thai, Japanese, and Mexican restaurants Easy access to major roads to other San Diego attractions, Balboa Park and Sea World and San Diego Harbor. If you want a little exercise, Mission Bay is across the street from your room that has miles of pedestrian and bike pathways and a golf course, including Frisbee golf. And for breakfast, you got to try Konito's and Cafe Athena, a Greek restaurant, for dinner, both next to the local Vons grocery store.

The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was conveniently located to where we spent most of our time. The price included breakfast. Parking was covered and also included in the price of the room.

Our room faced a main street. One of the people in our party is gluten and vegan free, the only option was fruit. The supply of fruit was low, you had to be there right when the fruit was put out. Breakfast offered rice crispy, but the non diary milk available was not gluten free.

Charging stations in the free parking lot. Location was perfect for us since we had to go back and forth from San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego. We also wanted to check out the city. The location was perfect for getting on and off the freeway. Bonus- free breakfast!

The only tough part for us was the no left turn out of the parking lot. We had to figure out how to navigate getting on I-5 leaving the property.

Extremely comfortable bed and soft linens. Quiet with plenty of free parking. The staff were all nice and welcoming. Breakfast was just ok, but it was busy and we showed up near the end of service.

Our room’s tub faucet didn’t switch to shower mode very easily. The pull wouldn’t fully close off the faucet so our shower water pressure wasn’t that great.

Location was perfect for the event we were in town for. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had lots of great choices.

I had really hoped for a jacuzzi at the hotel. It was a little too chilly to use the pool during our stay.

Very clean, easy and FREE parking (a bonus in SD, where most hotels charge $30/night!) Very comfortable/small King room. The location is NOT why you stay here - it's off the freeway, convenient as a stop over going elsewhere - or - if you're like me, just needed someplace to sleep before a busy day in the area.

The coffee at breakfast buffet was not as good as the coffee made in the room. The location is NOT why you stay here. It's totally safe and clean, just not interesting, pretty, nor is there anything to get to by foot, and nearest area, Pacific Beach, is 10 minutes away by car. Totally worth the drive, but again, you are not staying here for anything more than budget friendly safe and clean hotel room

The king suite was spacious and clean. The location was great as it was close to everything. The area felt safe and the hotel was very modern.

Nothing really. Mainly just the fact that you have to request room service instead of the service being automated like other hotels.

Lovely section of town. Accessible to everywhere. Friendly and efficient staff.

The location was what sold me right away. What really took me by surprise is how beautiful and modern the hotel is. The rooms are clean, modern, and sleek. The bathroom is gorgeous with a huge walk in shower!

The staff on the phone could have been a bit better. When I called and stated I began the online check in process the lady on the phone was a bit snippy and used the term, “first of all” in a derogatory tone. Though when I checked in, the gal at the front desk was fabulous.

the rooms were very clean and spacious, the fact that the hotel had its's own parking was part of the reason I selected this hotel. Location wise it was fairly good, I liked that I was maximum 10-15 minutes away from the places I wanted to visit like La Jolla, Balboa Park, Downtown San Diego.
