Johnny has been a constant welcoming person over the last 4 years that I have been coming to SD and staying at La Quinta once a month the last 4 years - since January 2021. he is so cheerful, welcoming and kind. Always making sure i have everything I need and making the whole weekend so pleasant. He REALLY deserves a bonus and acknowledgement - for his presence, kindness and general welcoming spirit. I love Johnny ! I hope he knows his value and feels valued by the corporation - Wyndham. The breakfast is fabulous - LOVE the fresh scrambled eggs and the great coffee (better than in the room which is horrible ) and cereals. Yoghurt and toast and waffles, bagels all great.

All was well - price this weekend was about $150 more than I usually pay ....???? not sure why. Coffee in the room is horrible !!!

The room was very clean, spacious, beds were comfortable, and the windows blocked the sound of the nearby highway very well. You could hear a bit of hallway noise if someone was walking right by and talking but it was pretty minimal for us and I got great sleep. Location was close to a lot of points of interest - quick drive not walk right out the door and you're in a bustling area though. The breakfast was middle of the road, we skipped it and ate out, but nice that it was a free option and they did have some hot foods, maybe we came down too late - they did have cereal, oatmeal packets, hardboiled eggs, toast, and looked like they were out of scrambled eggs.

The garage was a big tight but I'm glad it existed and was included in the price.

The location was perfect for everything we did in and around San Diego. The microwave was broken. When I told the front desk, it was replaced within minutes.

Although our room was very clean, the carpet "seemed" dirty, probably because it looked worn and there was a black streak on it that looked like it was caused by moving furniture. The breakfast attendant did not wear gloves at all when working with food and utensils. When changing the garbage bag, she pushed the trash down with here bare hands before pulling the full bag out of the can. I can only hope that she washed her hands before continuing work, but this stayed on my mind throughout our stay.

Location, parking, easy access.

Fridge was broken, it froze our cans and popped them. Loud Kids running around early in the morning 7 am, parents didn't care. Next door was smoking weed.

Room is clean and spacious. Love the bath tub. Breakfast is ample and sustaining. Coffee in dining room is great. Loved the hot tub as well - used it often. I have stayed here once a month since about January 2021 - approximately 30 (maybe 35)times. In the last two years having John greet me on a Friday night and help me check in has truly been a highlight. He is so friendly and helpful - a real joy to chat with and laugh with. Thank you Johnny so much for making me feel so welcome.

Coffee in the room is sub par :( An extra blanket would have been nice but not a deal breaker.

They provide free parking garage and the hotel location is not far from the highway. The staffs are willing to help you.

Their breakfast may not fancy but it good to have with its valuable price.

I liked almost everything, the facilities were nice, the staff was friendly and cleaning was exceptional work. It is a safe place and a well-connected place to every tourist spots.

When we arrived, complimentary breakfast wasn't mentioned to us, and we got to know towards the very end. Rest it was a wonderful place well connected to every beautiful thing nearby. The entrance may confuse someone, so a sign of where to enter from can be helpful for future visits.

The room was great and very clean.

Room was spacious and comfortable, location was convenient to the places we needed to go to. Breakfast was OK, but not great.

Entrance and exit was extremely poor. Parking in garage was ample but tight with large vehicles. Had pkumbing problems with the toilet, so they moved us to another room (which was a fine work around)

Bed was comfortable, room was spacious and clean. Staff changed the linens and towels every day, quiet and staff was extremely helpful and kind. We would stay here again and we enjoyed our time here, great location.

The paint in the room was a little chipped and the furniture was scuffed up. But everything was clean and comfortable, the only other thing may be a bigger parking lot by the lobby. But we really enjoyed our stay.
