If you've stayed in Comfort Inn before, you know what to expect. Clean, efficient, good bed, generally decent sized rooms, decent pricing. You will get exactly what you expect. No complaints.

The Comfort Inn breakfasts are always a little ...marginal? I'm an egg person, and their scrambled eggs make me wonder if they found some WWII rations somewhere. The rest is pretty much typical fare for the price point and competition. Hey...add some salsa...improve the scrambled eggs? But generally, the breakfast is typical.

Pleasant staff. Impeccably clean room. The in room sitting area was nice. We needed the mini fridge and microwave so that was a plus. But the best part was the extremely comfortable cozy king bed. We slept so well and the bed was so cozy we didn't want to get up in the mornings.

The shower was outdated. I didn't mind that but there was hair from the previous guest rolled around the drain. That, of course, was off putting but I was prepared with cleaners and Lysol spray. The toilet would not flush until the handle was held down. Despite these two items, the good far outweighed any negatives.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the linens were soft, the bed was comfy and had enough pillows. The shower had a removable shower head, which is a homey comfort that you don't get at most hotels. We didn't eat the complimentary breakfast but we took a peek at it and it looked very appetizing.

Our room faced the parking lot and the lights were very bright. I woke up in the middle of the night and thought it was morning. Other than that there was nothing else that I didn't like.

We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay as we typically stay in Marriotts and Hiltons. We stayed at Hampton Inn on the way to Mt. Shasta and here at Comfort Suites on the way from. Honestly, it’s much much better than Hampton Inn and cheaper too. Breakfast was good with all the necessities from oatmeal to hot items to carbs and dairy and a waffle station. AC was good and strategically located in a room not to blow directly but to the side and still cool the room. Room itself is probably double the size of Hampton Inn with a sitting area, work area and kitchen area. They even do room service in comparison to other hotels who stopped it since Covid times and never returned unless you stay like a week or something like that. Snacks throughout the day refilled so as chilled water in a lobby. Pool is clean. Fitness center is small but it’s there and available. 1 hr drive to Lassen SW entrance. 30 min to Redding. Not only we will stay here again, we will now try to stay at other Comfort Suites nationwide. I always ignored it on my search because I thought they are a class lower even from Hamptons and BW but much better stay than the other ones.

The only negative I can say is wifi is not good. My husband is an IT and had to work remotely. He really struggled. Had to go to Starbucks to use internet.

Check-in was quick and easy- it only took a few minutes. The room was very nice and the price was excellent. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast but it was good and there was plenty of food. The location is great: next to a couple restaurants and a coffee shop and two gas stations...and only a couple minutes from I5.

I've gotten sensitive to the security deposits being charged to my debit card... so I was attentive to it here. I checked in on a Saturday and out on Sunday. The room charge was entered twice against my bank balance but one charge was released Monday. The result was that the room charge was not available for the remainder of my trip to southern Oregon on my departure day. I suppose that the only way around this is to use a credit card...something I am trying to quit doing.

The room was massive: big bed, couch, desk, separate cabinet with mini fridge; en suite tub with bath; even room to put down my yoga mat and do some stretches. I had some work to do while there, so the desk and space in the room was impressive. Room did not have a coffee pot, so I had to go downstairs for my early coffee. Breakfast had eggs, so I could get some low-carb, low-sugar breakfast, though that was about it.

The outside was a little shabby. Pool was not heated. The only thing I could eat in the breakfast lineup was the egg-patty that was made for the McMuffin-type breakfast sandwich, though they had sausage, waffle machine, etc.

Breakfast was very nice.

The hotel’s computer was telling staff I did not have reservations. I showed her my booking.com reservation. She then told me I had two reservations if I wanted to cancel one. I told her I only had one reservation at the other one was canceled previously. She did let me in the room Based on my booking.com mobile reservation.

The room was huge and clean. Great location especially if you want to go to lassen NP. Bed was comfortable. Room had a fridge and microwave which was convenient. The breakfast was excellent with a pretty good spread! It starts from 6 AM which is convenient if you want to head out early.

The lobby smelt of cigarette smoke. We couldn't figure out how to use the WiFi since we didn't know which one belonged to the hotel.

I have stayed at this wonderful hotel many times over the years when traveling. The staff is always welcoming, coffee and ice water in the lobby 24 hours a day, rooms are very large, fully appointed, and always spotlessly clean. Comfy King beds, cable TV, 48 inch flat screens, good heat or A/C, fridge and microwave in every room. Ice machines on each floor and a good breakfast at 6 am for all. T

Absolutely nothing.

New, spacious rooms and all the amenities, great little perks unseen before at any other US hotels (like chilled lemon water at the lobby), good breakfast (by American hotels standards ;)), everything works as it should, nice staff, super easy and smooth check-in process ... really, it felt like the ideal hotel experience.

These feels like nitpicking, but the fridges/freezers in the rooms could be a bit larger, given that Red Bluff is a gateway to a lot of great outdoors like Lassen, Shasta etc., so many campers need to store their coolers contents and freezing their ice blocks overnight before heading off to the wilderness.
