Great hot breakfast, friendly staff and easy stay.

Rooms we’re comfortable and quiet. They could use a little more detail as far as decor and furniture, but for the price, it’s standard.

Very friendly staff at the front desk. We ended up staying an extra night because our flight was canceled due to the winter storm. Front desk staff was able to accommodate us for another night in the same room, however the rate was much higher than our previous night. Clean rooms. We used the exercise room, pool, and hot tub. Pool was a little chilly. The pool area had windows so it was cool to watch the snow falling.

Our second night rate was much higher than our previous night (a Thursday night.) I feel like it was a price increase because of the storm. Not the fault of the front desk staff - it was the in-house booking rate. We used the exercise room (water filling station was not working.)

The front desk staff was awesome!!! Crystal, there was a new young lady just starting the day of my stay, and another lady the day I checked out are all exceptional. Their customer service was beyond them just doing their job. They exhibited investment and commitment in their career choice and their place of employment. They were all articulate and professional, willing to problem solve any questions or concerns I had. My husband did not want to stay because of the location. He quickly changed his thought process once we arrived and stepped inside. We were impressed by the fresh, clean smell of the hotel. The breakfast was well prepared and hot. The pancake maker is awful. The biscuits were melt in your mouth good. Maybe add more fresh fruit than just bananas and add more of a variety of breakfast items! The price of the room was great. I stay in Denver, Aurora, and Cherry Creek often overnight. I live in Springs, and it is easier than driving home after attending a show, etc. The price of an overnight stay can be "high." Holiday Inn Express was very reasonable. It was my first time staying, and the only diterance keeping me from staying again would be the "hard mattress" because I did not get any sleep!!!

The bed was "extremely" uncomfortable, and my husband and my backs hurt the next morning because the mattress was so darn hard. I tossed and turned all night and hardly slept. There was no tub in the room, only a shower. Some people, such as myself, prefer a bath. Get better mattresses as this may be a deal breaker if I would ever stay again.

They didn’t have milk for the cereal one day and had no coffee on another day. Trying to send a message through Booking.com to ask about modifying my stay was a joke. Zero response. Horrible customer service. Might as well not have a message center.

Was in town for a quick jaunt (seeing a band from Ireland, and squeezed in a hike at Green Mountain). The king suite was so lovely. I enjoyed having the space to come back to and relax after my outings.

Saw ants around the hot tub area, but not a dealbreaker. Still a good pool/hot tub setup

Breakfast was good except that when we wanted to eat at 8:15 am, there were no cinnamon rolls to be found. -cleaning staff was mopping floors in general walkway during breakfast (high traffic area).

Very loud street noise (side street); maybe better insulated windows on that side of the building. Heard someone’s car alarm go off for 15 minutes right outside my room. Floors are thin. Stayed on 3rd floor; people above me were running a marathon most of the late afternoon/evening. Sounded like elephants. Floor insulation could be much better.

When I checked in, both reception staff weren't very welcoming. They managed to get everything done, but there were a lot of half-answered questions and they had a bad attitude.

Breakfast was good and the quality was very good. Staff was very attentive.

The remote control for the TV didn’t work when we arrived, I called reception and was told to come down and get a different one. The new remote didn’t work, I then went down again for new set of batteries, still didn’t work.

The check in process was extremely smooth, both staff members at the front desk were super friendly. The pool, although chilly, was a fun break for our kids. Breakfast had a great variety of foods and was well-stocked. Room was clean, beds were fairly comfortable, a little firmer and harder than normal Holiday Inn beds. Location is great for getting to DIA quickly.
