The staff, Amber, waited for my arrival to check in after her business hours. She contacted me beforehand but I was driving and did not see her message. Amber helped me change from a 2-floor to a ground floor room without issues. My legs were broken after long hikes in RMNP, so I was quite appreciated for her kindness. Room has standard furniture and devices.

The fridge is noisy when it is working, so I had to unplug it to have a quiet sleeping environment. The water closet in bathroom has its seat mat unconnected to the closet body. The seat mat dropped to the ground when I firstly used the closet. Breakfast is brief but there is not a formal seating area for breakfast. The sofas are few and far from table.

The breakfast selection was perfect for my wants - when I travel I try to get a PBJ for breakfast once and I had one at Mountain Inn. The location was perfect, in town but not in the business district. The next door restaurant/bar fit in great with my way of travel. All in all, a very good experience!!

Took me awhile to figure out how to use the lock on the door - it was a challenge but I managed. A bit of an inconvenience but OK.

The property was in a great location for us and right on the creek. There were places to eat within walking distance and a nice complimentary breakfast. They allowed us to park our RV out front across the street. We stay in hotels when our son is visiting.

When I went to check under the beds for lost items, it was quite dirty and you could tell the box spring had been ripped apart by an animal. We have a dog that doesn’t leave a trace. I had allergies the entire time in the room and I suspect a cat had been there before. The room could use an upgrade and a deep clean.

The staff were super nice. The character of the property being older, you can see they’ve been updating things, was super cute. The pool was older but we had no concerns swimming in it and honestly, my whole family absolutely loved it. The welcoming atmosphere is definitely unmatched. It’s family friendly. We felt safe by its location, we’ve experienced crappy places to stay and this is NOT one of them. This was a very nice place to stay. We’d stay again with no hesitation. Don’t expect a wide array for a continental breakfast but what they had was decent.

Spare keys! We unfortunately experienced locking ourselves out since you only get one key, BUT, the staff was super nice about unlocking our door for us. Parking lot is not meant for larger vehicles. Again, this is an older property with a lot of character, but parking isn’t conducive for super large vehicles. We have a half ton extended cab and full box and that’s about all I’d consider driving here due to the tight parking space.

For the small space they had to provide breakfast, it was very good. Their coffee was very good and available all day. The staff was extremely friendly, and the location was within walking distance to the old town & even to the lake, not just around the corner, but reasonable walking distance.

The age of the facility was a bit evident. It could use a refreshing.

Great spot in the middle of many ski areas! Very friendly staff, easy parking, nice continental breakfast spread in the morning.

A little noisy at night (could hear everything my upstairs neighbor was doing) but I got some ear plugs and was ok

The breakfast was good, it was just located in such a small area only one person at a time could be in there. We had to just grab what we could and take it back to our room.

It did get a bit warm in the room in the late afternoon and evenings. We had to put the fan up on top of the furniture to circulate some of the cool outside air into the room. But I know a/c is rare in Colorado

The location is pretty good with a few food options nearby, beds are comfortable and the staff was really nice letting us having have a coffee maker in a our room and grab some breakfast the night before because the lobby was gonna be close at the time we were leaving.

The hot tub was a bit dirty.

Large room with two double beds. Kitchenette with crockery, cutlery, microwave ,fridge and kettle. Parking right outside rule. Central location

Continental breakfast was minimal and consisted of packets of grits, orange juice and piece of fruit.Breakfast needs to be taken in room or small lobby.

The hotel is amazing—clean, warm, and comfortable. And the people are separate—I felt like visiting good friends. All my issues were resolved immediately. We took the class and had to leave the hotel much before breakfast (nothing open this time). The lady in reception gave us breakfast and a coffee maker :)
