Leticia, I cannot say enough good about. She is the sweetest person and works so hard at her job to make everything perfect. Everything in the lobby area and where the food was was immaculate. She is so friendly and welcoming, it’s like you’ve been friends with her for years. I really enjoyed dealing with her.The breakfasts were different every day. One day had sausage the next day had the best biscuits and sausage gravy and then the last day had Canadian bacon. They had eggs every day which I love and they weren’t dried out or rubbery. The sausage wasn’t greasy or dried out. They were good. Fresh waffles that I usually never take, but I did this time and they did not disappoint. The gravy was fresh made the day of the biscuits and gravy and had a little bit of spice to it that made it really nice. The coffee was fresh and good as were juices, pastries, cereal, breads it was a good way to start my day. Nothing fancy, but just good food. I’ve had coffee in the Holiday Inn that was really hard to drink because it tasted so bad but the coffee here was good. Coffee in the rooms was also good which doesn’t happen at the Holiday Inn. That’s where we usually stay in Gunnison. The breakfast here I liked a lot better than the Holiday Inn. The rooms were comfy. Everything was supplied from shampoo to lotions. Towels for the pool were supplied. They had a washer and dryer on site which came in very handy. We were very very happy with staying there. It had snowed and all the walkways were clear to our room from the office. We really enjoyed staying here and I just really like the charm of this place and the friendliness of Leticia. It felt like she was welcoming you into her home and that was a nice feeling.
As for the accommodations, everything was perfect. The only thing I did not like that they could not control was people who were on the second floor above us the last night that let their kids run in the room and jump for three hours before bedtime. I do not know why people on the upper floors do not care or respect that there’s people below them. The adults were every bit as noisy themselves stomping across the floor. The staff did call them after we couldn’t stand it any longer after all three hours is quite a bit put up with running and jumping and told them to stop which they finally did. That was my only complaint and it has nothing to do with the lodge. People should be more considerate of others.

The location is great, and I loved the outdoor area with the fire pit, the grill, the cornhole games. They had games in the lobby that we were interested in but didn't end up playing - but that looked fun! And the pool and hot tub were nice. The pool was a little chilly, I thought, but the hot tub was lovely. I was also surprised by how quiet it was - maybe we didn't hear people walking by because we were using the air conditioning, but that was nice. Usually one of my dogs gets on edge when he hears people walking by all the time, but we all slept very well through the night and he barely barked at anyone passing by!
The hotel is not a brand new one, so things were a little dated, but I kind of liked that. The bathrooms could use updating though - maybe at least re-caulking? These were small things, I thought things were clean, just not in the newest condition.

The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Some of the furniture is a little old, but still comfortable. The atmosphere of this place is very nice, making you feel like it is more of a community. Nice location. Nice pool. Breakfast was okay, and the staff was very attentive to make sure the buffet was always full. The staff lent us cell phone cubes so we could charge our phones.
The in-room USB chargers for our phones did not work. The in-room coffee maker was broken. Both items were addressed with the staff.

For the price everything was great. Good breakfast, cleaning was regular and done well without disrupting our personal items. Pet friendly was a big plus. and the pool and hot tub were excellent. Would definitely book again.
Some amenities were a little dated but everything worked. While not shiny and brand new the pool was well heated and otherwise clean. The hours for breakfast were a little limiting but we had no issue making it to get some food.

I loved that we had our own wood burning fireplace in our room. Each room had fans. The master bedroom was enormous. We also had our own kitchen and living room, which was wonderful! The office was great and kept in contact with us on the day of check-in to make sure we knew how the check-in procedures after hours. The staff was wonderful.
When check-in after 9 pm it's a little difficult to figure out which is the correct room door, this one is not clearly numbered on the map nor the building outside. Additionally, the room has an interesting smell when first entering it, (which I think might come from the vehicles used in the garage next to it). However, it doesn't seem to travel up the stairs and into the room, it seems to remain at the entry way.

Although the layout of The Inn says "standard motel," it's hiding the many quality touches of the guest rooms. My personal favorite is the miniature rubber duckie in each bathroom, but generally the experience here is thoughtful and personal. I made my first reservation late in the evening, after the hotel office was already closed, although I didn't know that until I turned up. The lady who opened up and checked us in after we called was friendly and helpful, even though it was midnight, two hours after reception normally closed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another night for our return trip through a couple of nights later.
Be forewarned: They are surprisingly adamant about checkout time! It all worked out fine in the end, but the front desk lady originally said she was going to have to charge us extra for overstaying the 11 a.m. checkout.

We liked the location just a 5 minute drive from town....it is a very peaceful spot. We started a conversation with 3 other guests sitting around the fire pit (they had lit a wonderful fire) and spent a couple of hours enjoying the outdoors. I would advise travelers to check out the hotel website and look at the picture to have an idea of the grounds. A couple of grills are available for guests who would like to fix food and have dinner on the spot. Breakfast was great as well. Many options.

Beds were very comfortable. I appreciated the pillow thickness options. Did not use most of the amenities since we were primarily there as a cheaper option to staying in Crested Butte. The breakfast was a basic continental one.
For me, the breakfast was too basic and not as healthy as I normally eat. (Think sugary Yoplait yogurt and white bread products.) At least the scrambled eggs were being made consistently so they were fresher.

The breakfast was great and all the staff were very nice. I know the rooms were redone in the not too distant past but they are very dark. It's probably the most critical thing I could give you. I enjoyed the hot tub. I would stay here again.
Our room had only one window facing the highway. The colors in the room are very dark. Dark wood, dark carpet...just felt a little depressing. But some may absolutely love that look. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it really doesn't much matter. It's just constructive feedback.

Had everything we needed, especially eating table, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, and other toiletries in the room. Continental breakfast was very nice as burritos were available. Also bottled water were provided. Receptionist were very helpful, especially Leticia during breakfast and check out.
Large public trash container situated outside of our window and cigarette smoke could be smelled with the open window and not a pleasant view.
