location, appearance, and cleanliness. Close to trails and river. Easy access to the room from outside. Plenty of parking. Easy check-in and check-out. We would consider returning next year and in the future.

Upon arrival, and the first couple of days, there was a sewer odor inside the hallway and outside the north side exterior pedestrian door. According to my wife the desk clerk was rude when she wanted to check on the price of M&Ms candy. My advice to Fairfield Inn and Suites would be to sell snacks at suggested retail prices instead of taking advantage of customers. The expensive Spring & Summer room rates should be enough profit to get through the slow Winter months. Our room was nice, although small for $329.00 plus tax and fees.

The hotel is brand new, very nice room. Everything was pristine. Beds very comfortable. I left my purse at a nearby restaurant and the next day Nicole at the front desk was absolutely wonderful in helping me get it back. She called the restaurant and gave me the phone # for the restaurant. When the restaurant opened at 5:00 pm, Kim from the front desk went to the restaurant and picked up my purse. Nicole helped me with every step to get my purse shipped to me. I was so grateful for Nicole’s concern and care. Kudos to Nicole and Kim. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

New property, very nice, love the decor and aesthetics of the hotel and room.

The breakfast was lack luster. The waffle maker is set up right at the start which does not work in that space. Needs to be moved. Only egg whites and thin bacon. Cereal choices not great. Fridge was not full had some but not enough of Yogurt etc. I only saw Silk milk. Guest had to ask for regular milk. I ended up having to find another breakfast after I departed. Needs sausages, Egg omelets etc. Muffins Wish I could used the hot tub, but it was out of order.

Break fast was great, One of the better places for breakfast. Hot meals, Different meals every day. the best. Area is close to a walk along a river which was nice.

Area was still being built, Hotel was new. In a couple of months this is going to be a Great location, Now a lot of construction going on. Construction did not affect the hotel just the walk around the area.

Location was convenient to those traveling east to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The room was large.

Lack of information on things to do in the area. Breakfast eggs were dry. Facility has a clean modern style, bordering on sterile. The bathroom was not equipped with basic safety features. The smooth, untextured acrylic tub lacked a bathmat and was very slippery.

This hotel was really new and very well kept. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Also a great location in Montrose.

No complaints really. Although they don’t do housekeeping for multiple day stays except every other day. I think this is the new trend in hotels. The breakfast wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t terrible either.

The cleanliness and breakfast were exceptional All the staff were friendly and helpful.

We loved everything there wasn’t nothing not to love. Well maybe just the pillows but I usually travel with my own pillows.

Brand new and sparkling clean. Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet had omelettes, egg muffin sandwiches, and more extras. It is next to the airport and you can hear minimal plane noise. They do not fly daily nor early. So it wasn’t a problem.

The shower curtain needed to be switched. Cleaning staff are taking shortcuts. This was quickly resolved without complaint by on duty staff I appreciate that

Breakfast was delicious. The room was a great size but the bathroom was even better!

I do feel the pictures for the pool were a little deceiving. It seemed as the pool was going to be bigger that it actually was.
