This hotel/motel exceeded my expectations. From the outside and also in the main areas, lobby, and hallways, the hotel looks pretty modest and outdated. But my room was very, very nice. It was huge, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a couch, a big desk, a table big enough to seat 4 people, 4 chairs, and plenty of extra space. The flat-screen TV was honestly the biggest I have seen in a hotel! The bathroom was not big, but it was very clean and decently equipped (no conditioner, with lotion, shampoo, and soap bars). Towels were changed every day. The room also had a fridge, a coffee maker, and a microwave. It was pretty quiet. We also ate dinner in the Indian Restaurant next to the hotel and it was excellent.

The room could have had a couple of coffee pods. It only had one. Reception was often unattended.

1. Owner/staff was very accommodating when we arrived later than planned. He even helped us bring luggage to our room. 2. Room was clean, A/C worked great, very large TV, beds were comfortable. 3. Proximity of inn to wedding we were attending was very close. 4. Indian restaurant directly next to Inn, with great food. 5. Room rate was reasonable.

1. Tub bottom is slippery-- needs a non-slip mat or decals. 2. No tissues provided. 3. Exhaust fan in bathroom quite dusty. 4. Several steps to climb to enter the inn. Was a bit challenging for our elderly relative.

Perfect location for going to a wedding at The Pavilion on Crystal Lake, it was about 5 minutes from there. Room was large and came with a mini-fridge and microwave which was very nice. The TV was gigantic!

The outside front porch area looked a bit messy like it was under construction but I think it was just old and crumbling. Inside it was fine though. First impressions made me wary until I entered the room.

The spacious room was clean and well maintained. The only sign of wear was minor and that was in the bathtub. The bed was comfortable and had the smoothest sheets plus the heater worked quickly. My room was on the 2nd floor and faced the street but I did not hear any traffic on the lightly traveled road. A can of soda from the vending machine was just $1.

The TV was not HD.

TV huge. Looked great, but took a genius (which I am not) to operate. And once you got it going, Lots of stuff "Not authorized, not what ever. Needs bars in shower to hold on to.

Good value for the money. No frills are available, like breakfast, spa or pool but the rooms are clean, neat and comfortable and the staff is helpful. Excellent Indian restaurant attached to motel. Very good bare necessity made for a comfortable night sleep.

We did not eat at the hotel. It was a clean, dated room. The bed was comfortable and the thermostat worked well along with the fridge. One of the few hotels I've stayed at since the pandemic that actually had maid service each day!

The carpet and bedding need updating.

The room was clean and well-lit, and it had a good-sized refrigerator with an actual freezer. The bed was very comfortable. I loved that there was a small table and chairs in addition to the desk, and I liked having the little balcony to go sit out on, too.

Wi-fi was slow, and I wished they'd had a breakfast available.

Clean and quiet…my 2 largest concerns always when I travel. I can overlook luxury and needs of facility upgrades….just give me clean quiet and a comfortable place I feel safe at then you’ll get my vote.
