Breakfast was very nice. A good variety and real juice! Decaf coffee was very strong. Loved the cookies waiting when we checked in. We had a long drive and my diabetic husband really enjoyed that cookie! Staff very helpful, telling us how to walk to the ballpark and safely get around all the construction.

A number of outlets in our room did not work and one lamp was without a bulb. The outlet by the far side of the bed was only half working. So we had a choice of the lamp or clock. Neither the sink or tub drained properly. Hair dryer cord loose. Had to keep wiggling it to get it to stay on. None of this was severe, just inconvenient.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do, but still quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was my first visit to Bradenton, and I found the city to be charming. I especially liked the Riverwalk and the Bishop Museum. The Chamber of Commerce was across the street so I paid them a visit, and discovered there were many places I was not going to have time to see on my short visit there. I am hoping to visit again soon. I plan to take the ferry to Anna Maria Island, and to go on a dolphin tour. There are many restaurant options, but I only had an opportunity to eat at 2 of them. The Oak And Stone rooftop restaurant gave us an amazing view of the river, and great food. Bricks on 12th St. West had a great menu, and I had a fantastic salad topped with perfectly cooked blacked grouper. I stayed at the Hampton Inn which included a variety of breakfast options each day.

I was hoping the hotel cost would be less since I was visiting during off season, but I was not disappointed in the lodging, the staff, or the location. It was a beautiful, historic hotel, which has been modernized, but still retains much of it's old charm.

Excellent location and a very interesting building. Bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Free onsite parking and a great breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Special mention to Natasha at reception who looked after us so well at check-in and Rebecca on our day of check-out. And also James, who was busy fixing things . All the staff were excellent and very friendly and polite.

Our room wasn't serviced during our 2 night stay. Balcony floors need some attention and upgrading.

Breakfast was great, staff friendly and helpful. Parking was free. Located 1 block from bishops museum where I was going. 2 blocks from a nice little cafe for breakfast or lunch and a few pizza spots as well as an ice cream shoppe. Beds were comfortable enough. I’ve had better but they were sufficient. Pillows were a bit thin but there were plenty of them.

The lady in front office needs to be more professional and explain better about the parking and everything,She didn’t offer us or gave us water and almost forgot tell us the # of the room almost when we left with so so low voice she said number, we know is in the card but is her attitude ,we didn’t feel welcome at all . Really ,Really you need to hire charismatic and sweet people for the front desk that is the first impression and very very important for the customers

The staff is super friendly, the location is awesome. Breakfast was wow and the staff that prepared the breakfast are amazing.

The cleaning can be better, when we got to the room the toilet wasn’t clean properly, also there was something in the door, the windows had some crumbs, the ceiling had like mold or something,

Our room was very spacious and breakfast was good.

Not all rooms have balcony but its understandable as it is an older hotel but has been renovated and well maintained.

The location was great! The staff was pleasant and attentive. Cool fact, knowing we slept in a 1926 beautiful structure!

A few dislike was finding clear directions to pool area, not having towels nearby and the lack of shady areas. An obvious observation was limited space for additional umbrellas, but some tall trees would help fix and provide a natural and tropical landscape. Additionally , it would create an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. And perhaps minimize the traffic noise that the outdoor speakers attempt to muffle, but not enough.

Great location for getting around. Nice hotel a little rough at the edges. Breakfast best then most other hotels.

Housekeeping every other day. Bathroom okay but has old fixtures and shower head was set so you could not change setting. Not pleasant as we wanted.
