MJ at reception was so friendly and helpful. Location is great for walking to beach and local bars / restaurants- you don’t need to drive once there. Very safe with the elevators needing a code and keyless entry and FREE parking is appreciated for the room.

Although you can see the ocean from a short distance- the immediate views from room aren’t that pretty (roofs of other places; a fenced lot with graffiti) but this is the surroundings and out of the resorts control. We chose it for the walk ability and FREE parking!

The rooms were very spacious and they had the sleeper set out for us when we arrived. We had an issue with the TV one day glitching and they brought a brand new TV up and replaced it. The pool and the view was spectacular. We spent several hours at the pool each day. The office staff was wonderful every interaction we had together. Hotel was very clean and quiet. I loved they everything was with a punchpad instead of a key card. Felt very safe at the hotel.

The sleeper sofa was VERY THIN and you could feel the springs in the bed. It was more comfortable to just put the couch back and sleep on that.

The location is great super close to the beach and a bunch of restaurants around. The rooms were cleaned and spacious. Unfortunately it’s been raining so we didn’t get to see the pool. The kitchen area had everything we need big fridge and a stove in case you want to cook your own meals. Overall a good place

I did not like the bed. That mattress was pretty uncomfortable. While the area is super safe I didn’t like the door had no type of security lock or anything to secure the the door from inside. We had some ants in the room In between the cracks of the floor.

Loved Everything!!! From the soft beach vibe 1bedroom w/ the little balcony to the rooftop pool! Code system for doors was nice no key to tote around. Take your trash and wash your dishes A MUST or $60 charge! No quiet time hours and enough room for my 3 yr to run around and didn’t feel like the neighbors would hear every loud noise.

There is a $250 auth hold. Recommend arriving before 5pm to check in as no one will be in the office. Can pool hours be adjusted to 10pm…dawn is to early with the beautiful view on the rooftop pool!?!

The close proximity to the beach and restaurants can’t be beat. Much nicer accommodations than a hotel room. The booking was a breeze. The rooftop pool is very nice. The pricing was very reasonable given the quality and location of the resort rooms.

The office isn’t always staffed, although the young lady at the facility was extremely responsive and pleasant. Not sure if she was accessible after business hours. Having the office staffed 24 hours a day would offer a sense of greater security. For some reason, the address used by the facility isn’t the address recognized by Uber drivers…can’t explain this. The tv service is all streaming and is very limiting. I wish there would have been vending machines on site, although there are convenience stores and coffee shops nearby. I always like an Onsite coffee shop and gym. Wasn’t crazy about the rooster at an adjoining home crowing every morning!

This place is well located with very good restaurants and shops at walking distance. Still private and in a luxurious location. The apartment was perfect for me and my son. The rooftop pool was very convenient and just for us at several times during the day, at other times we just shared it with a few people -- no big deal. The rooftop is spacious, clean and comfortable.

It would be great if staff were available after 5pm for checking in and avoid requesting personal documents via email

The staff was excellent,location is close to beach and restaurants. It’s clean and pool is beautiful too. Staff is good at getting the supplies you need daily and resolving any issues that may arise.

It would be good to have newer pans for cooking and if elevators had AC.

This was my first time staying at this resort. My best friend was in town for her 40th birthday, and her request was to be close to the beach. From the time I booked, the staff communicated professionally. The room was beautiful and clean, and our balcony faced the ocean, which was amazing. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

The location is fantastic! I love the ability to take walks on the beach to start and end my day. The facilities are very nice, and the rooftop pool and view are a nice respite. Work-wise, I am very productive when I stay at Vistalmar. My room is quiet, and the internet connection is reliable. Visalmar is my go-to property when I am in town for business!

Perfect location! Walk everywhere: beaches, restaurants, shops. Very spacious. We loved that we could bring our dogs. MJ was super kind and helpful.

I thought the prices were extremely high for what it was. We’ve stayed at other airbnbs in the similar location that were less than half the cost. But we needed a place that allowed dogs so we went with it. Lots of positives…. I just just surprised HOW expensive it wound up being.
