The location was perfect, close to many amenities. I did not have breakfast at the hotel because I was informed that it was not included. The attention of the receptionist at the restaurant for breakfast was not kind and I preferred to have breakfast elsewhere.

Walking into this hotels grand elegance was a breath of fresh air! Literally. There's some wonderful aroma threapy going on when you walk in. There are drinks such as water, beer, whiskey or tequila punch as wait for your room. There are several restauraunts within the hotel with an excellent variety of cuisine. There's also a bar in the main lobby. Theres a beautiful rooftop pool party area. I'm sure that theres more that we did not see. Our room was on the 5th floor and it was amazing. Extra clean, fresh, crisp and up to date. It has a modern- zen vibe. Everything smelled so good. The bed and pillows are everything that you could ever hope for. There are other places to eat, shop and play within walking distance from the hotel. I forgot to mention that it is gated. I would definitely stay here again. I like that its location is within a large gated community. You can get out at any hour day or night and find people walking, jogging, strolling and walking pets in safety. I like that you can reserve a room or suite without paying up front. You pay at checkout!

Please be aware of the hotel fee, holding fee (which wasnt mentioned during booking) and they only have valet parking which has a fee for each night you stay..

Everything except the bait and switch using booking and the confusion of them not paying attention.

recently with this site, with booking, I was shown a room with a balcony. To find out there was none available. I was caught off guard but had no where to go so I had to pay the full price for room I did not expect along with having to move from one room to another. If I would have known I didn't have the balcony, I would not have stayed.! Feel like I was caught in a bait and switch! But was between a rock and a hard place, and still am. I feel like I should be reimbursed completely since it changed my plans and interrupted the ambience completely once again, I had no choice but to stay since it was this busy week! you have to use valet parking, I didn’t like that I had to wait for my car for an hour when we were ready to go out in the evening, I understand it was peek time for departure but I should have the choice to park and get my car so I can come and go without waiting

Exceptional stay! Staff was nice and so helpful, drinks at the rooftop bar were marvelous, the pool is so nice and the dj at night was the cherry on top for us. There is no better location than this… bars, restaurants, stores and activities are all at walking distance (inside resort area). We stopped at a restaurant with an awesome dance floor and had a blast. Then, we walked to another restaurant called Slick Slips and ate the best appetizers ever; in fact, everything there was amazing, but you certainly need to try the fried crab legs. Oh my God, no words for those crab legs. Going back to the hotel experience: everything was spotlessly clean, pleasant smell all around the property. Convenient vending and water+ice machine on our floor. Going for a walk around the hotel in the morning was so relaxing and refreshing. We loved the shuttle taking us to the beach BUT we didn’t enjoy the hotel beach as much because chairs and umbrellas were right next to each other, so everyone tight together. We are beach people so feeling cramped at the beach is not our vibe. We were happy that was an option but preferred to go the beach outside of the resort. Last but not least, we had our breakfast in our room every morning. Everything we tried on the breakfast menu was 10/10. We also had mimosas one morning and were not disappointed. Lovely! We loved our time there, the food, the drinks, the bed, THE SHOWER, the amenities, the rooftop, everything! Worth every penny.

I was clean and comfortable stay. I loved the way it smelled. I love a clean place and indeed it was. Wonderful staff and customer service. Overall I loved it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I did ask the receptionist was breakfast included in the package. She was supposed to check but never got back with me concerning that matter. I think the amount that was paid for the room that breakfast should have been included.

The staff was so, so friendly! The facility was extremely clean too! I love how spacious our room was, and we loved the little cafe on site. We appreciated the daily cookie treats available to guests, and the welcome cocktails were nice!

The pool was closed our first day, and then closed again for a private event. As we checked in, the receptionist was boasting about the rooftop pool, but we didn’t get to use it for two of the days we were there. The water pressure in the shower was not very good. I had to call the front desk multiple times for staff to bring additional towels/toiletries to the room.

The staff was super attentive and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The little details of a welcome cocktail, hydration stations on every floor, and valet parking made our stay extra relaxing and special.

The description of „private beach access“ didn’t point out that reservations for that beach are required at an additional fee and that the hotel is NOT on the beach side, but requires a shuttle ride to the public beach. We also had restaurants and shops within walking distance, but this was never mentioned to us upon arrival.

Very accommodating & staff were very helpful & courteous. Restaurant food was good & convenient as well as the coffee bar. Special thanks to Nick at Valet, from Thursday check in to Sunday checkout he was very professional & helpful every time & high energy!

Ice machine & vending machine on 8th floor didn’t work. On the final night I valeted my car, I received it on Sunday on checkout & it had hard water marks all over it, very disappointing (it did not rain the day or night before or the day of check out). The sprinkler had sprayed all over my car & left hard water residue all over. Please fix that , as I will be hesitant to valet my car every night now if I return to stay at Hotel Effie
