We incurred charges we didn’t know about

Beach location and access to the taxi service.

The 50 dollars a day to park is way way too much. The rooms were expensive to begin with. We checked our car in upon our arrival, and three days later picked it up when we checked out. Never used Valet except for checkin and out and got hammered with the bill. Won't be staying here again, for that reason. The Staff was very good, but upon checkin, the staff person needs to explain the elevator buttons and how the key works. We had to go back and forth to the desk to use the elevators. Also, our first set of keys wouldn't open the room. I had to make another trip downstairs to get help with that, and another set was provided and they worked fine. The staff lady at the desk was helpful though, with our problems.

I think it's 10/10 because it exceeded our expectations. I saw in the reviews that there's a construction but it didn't bother us even though our balcony was right in front of it. The beach is just there 2 mins walking, near to anything. Nice hotel, comfortable bed, great breakfast for sure! They charge 25$ destination fee per day but you can use it in drinks/breakfast credit. I asked the reception for water 3 times and they directly provided at no cost. I paid $5 for each in the previous hotel I stayed. Room is clean. Staff is nice. I'd stay again.

The hotel was in a great location along the Atlantic Ocean / cross road to walk along the wave wall/beach promenade. The room views included the Atlantic and the canal waterways. The 4th floor rooftop pool/bar overlooked the Atlantic Ocean. The very good breakfast buffet offered a great variety of choices. The AC Kitchen/Bar & Lounge also offered great choices for lunch/dinner. From our checkin to departure, Anitra and Albert and there staff looked after our needs with excellent care and service.

this is the 2nd time I’ve booked this hotel through booking.com, both times they’ve put me in a handicap room. Also they wouldn’t accept the credit card I had on file with booking.com. I think I’m going to quit using booking.com, as I discovered that I could’ve used Amex travel to book the room and the same and would’ve received my loyalty points. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was very well located- plus the $30 resort fee you can use to buy food and they give you chairs at the beach (you can buy an umbrella at CVS). Overall great location, GET BREAKFAST INCLUDED- it’s very worth it!!

Honestly it was great. The view that was supposed to be partial sea wasn’t - but we didn’t mind.

I liked that it was very centrally located and very close to the beach. Everything was within walking distance, which we loved! The hotel was very nice, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious

The hallways to the rooms were a bit dark, and my room had a strong musty smell near the bathroom. That was really the only thing we didn’t like

Friendly staff

Was told breakfast was free till 11 am..I don't eat breakfast but did thinking it was free so I would be full for a while then a waitress gave me two bills for $50 each because I had two rooms...wasn't happy about that at all. Plus the lighting in the bathroom was horrible..it was so bright I couldn't even turn it on.

breakfast location was great. we rise early and it was nice to grab some fresh brewed coffee around 6:15 before a 40 minute stroll. we had the breakfast buffet only once and the quality was decent but we found much better values with similar quality outside of the hotel.

food choices for evening; we ordered 2 salads to go that were not professionally prepared and overpriced.
