The location was perfect for the beach and town center. It was nice the property has 2 pools and a hot tub. There are plenty of chairs around the pool and a grill with seating nearby. The room was clean and ours had a little kitchen which was nice to have.

The pool is not heated so it was a little chilly at times but its Florida so if you have a hot day no need to heat it. Some rooms we noticed had hardwood (looking) floors but ours was carpeting and that is not really the best for a Florida stay. The TV was very grainy - not sure if its the Internet but we watched little TV so no a big deal for us.

One block from the beach and just around the corner from outstanding restaurants and lounges! What’s not to like!

The resort is very retro Fort Lauderdale. I loved the vide but if you are look for updated, modern accommodations, this place might not be for you.

Great location, 1 block from all the action in Lauderdale by the Sea. Spacious room. Pillows were comfortable. Arthur the manager was nice and held our bags when we arrived before check-in.

The grout in the tile floor was black with dirt, making the bottoms of our feet black when we walked barefoot. No shower head— water felt like needles on your back. Bathroom door has stains and could use a coat of paint. We had a room by the pool— noisy partiers were outside our room the night we stayed. The office A.C. wasn’t working and it smelled like rotting fruit when we walked in.

The grounds and set up of the area are well kept. Proximity to the beach, amenities and restaurants were fantastic. The owner and staff were nice and very helpful regarding the room preparation and local information. There are some beach chairs available for use as well. Perfect location if you're looking to spend your time on the beach.

The hotel is older, but is still well-kept. When we were there initially, there were quite a few smokers in the pool areas (as smoking is not allowed in the rooms), however on the second half of our stay it was much less, it's clientele dependent. A little close to the main street, but the rooms are well insulated from the noise at night.

The hotel, while older, is kept clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating. There were beach chairs and umbrellas available for our use, and Arthur provided extra towels for us to use at the pool or beach. The location of the hotel is perfect. We were able to leave our car at the hotel and walk to the beach, the town, and the local Publix. It was great not having to look for parking every time we went out. We've been to Lauderdale-by-The-Sea many times for day trips, but this is our first time staying there. We would definitely love to return to Shore Haven again.

We didn't see any housekeeping around during our stay, and we had to go to the office to replace toilet paper a couple of times. It wasn't a big deal, but we had to keep track and plan ahead.

Family run, super friendly and knowledgeable about area, very clean room and property meticulously maintained. We had a kitchenette and it was awesome! Loved the convenience of the coffee maker, hot water pot, microwave and fridge . Property is good sized and located walking distance from Lauderdale by the Sea. We were here visiting family and this place was perfect! Hope to come back next year 😁.

Our room was a studio efficiency, beds were comfortable, really nice sized kitchen with all pots and pans/utensils/dishes, micro, coffee maker, even an electric kettle which was a plus! Bathroom was a nice size and walk in shower. There is also a really nice walk-in closet/dressing room before you head into the bathroom. Beds were comfy, TV was fine, good AC. Pool was great (there are two as well as a hot tub on the property), loved all the tropical plants and palm trees, lots of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. A good amount of parking and a very welcoming and friendly staff. It is very, very close to the main square of LBTS and right next door to town hall yet you did not hear much noise or traffic! Would definitely stay again!

Not much really, the rooms and furnishings/decorations are a bit dated but who cares? You're in FL and supposed to be outside enjoying the weather!

The owner and staff were very friendly and hospitable. Clean pool and hot tub areas every day of our stay. Plenty of chairs and tables around the pool with grills and utensils for bbq. Convenience items were available in the office daily. Fresh towels were offered and paper products were replaced as needed. The landscaping provided a private and tropical feel. Best value in the area.

The staff were very kind and walked us to the room after checking us in. It is an older motel type of property. Might not be everyone's cup of tea. I found it endearing as it reminded me of traveling as a child with my family from the late 1970's. The grounds have well established pretty landscape. Pool and spa are a nice feature.

This is my third time staying at the Shore Haven! The staff is amazing and always make you feel at home. The location is perfect to the ocean, restuarants, and shopping. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The pools are well maintained as well as the hot tub.
