The location of this property is great, right on the beach and they provide beach chairs and umbrellas for you to borrow free of charge. Loved waking up, opening the door and being able to see the ocean. 5 minute walk from all the main bars and restaurants, which are busy enough but not too busy in June. Saw some great live musicians in the bars. Property is kept very clean. Never had an issue getting a sunlounger or umbrella by the pool at any time of day.

The only thing the property could improve on is the decor and furniture which is dated, but to be honest you know this before you book because it is shown in the pictures. If it was a bit more modern it would be perfect. However, we spent little time in the room so this isn't really an issue.

Location location location! You are pretty much there on the beach, a very short walk. Less than 100 feet. You are also within walking distance to lauderdale by the sea, which has a wide variety of excellent restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. Literally, less than a 5 minute walk to all these places. There are two swimming pools on-site, great for families with kids. There is a BBQ, bicycles, beach toys, on-site parking, you name it. The rooms have a mini kitchen. The staff is great, excellent customer service. We would definitely go back.

The pull out couch was very comfortable, but it worked, overall no issues.

The location was very nice, on the beach, with two heated pools, grills and lounging, close to dining and shopping. It will be better when the nearby pier is repaired and accessible. They also had nice laundry facilities on site, for a fee, as well as many free day use items including beach chairs, bicycles and pool floats, etc. The housekeeping service was also very helpful. And the kitchenette was very useful for making stovetop meals at the resort.

The furniture in the rooms was a bit dated and not well functional for a beach-side location. The floor and other aspects of the room could use some updating.

Great location right on the beach with plenty of chairs for lounging, small but clean pool, clean facilities, friendly staff. We did not have a car and loved that restaurants and shops were a short walk away. Used the local circuit by the sea for a ride to Publix and a further out restaurant when we didn't feel like walking. The front desk recommended Square Grouper SoFlo as a snorkeling guide. Conveniently located steps from the Windjammer and fun snorkeling right from the beach. It was a great value!

Nothing--accommodations weren't luxurious but had everything we needed, were clean and well kept. Our 13 year old slept on the hide-a-bed/couch. It was fine for her but maybe wouldn't be good for a full sized or older adult.

We were here for the second time. The location is perfect—just steps away from the beach with stunning ocean views right from our room. What I liked most was the peaceful atmosphere and how clean and well-maintained everything was. The resort staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. We will return next year for sure!

Everything! The resorts location was amazing, right on the beach, and only a 3 min walk to downtown Lauderdale by the Sea. They provided you with so many value-added options like beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, boogie boards, etc. Resort was extremely clean and well maintained. The entire area is so vibrant, safe and chill, and our first time to Lauderdale by the Sea and the Windjammer will not be our last.

Our studio room was a little smaller than we would have liked, but we'll be sure to grab a bigger one next time.

Probably the best value for the money. We got room 16 which was located facing the beach and it was a remarkable and romantic getaway! The staff was super friendly. Alex at the front desk called me a day in advance before leaving to ask me if I needed anything for our departure. And Bailey even went out his way to say he was want going to be at the windjammer all week and wanted to wish us a wonderful stay. Moreover, the guests were kind and friendly! We loved it and would definitely stay again!

We appreciated the use of elevator to bring up luggage, view from our room, access to beach, pools, nearby restaurants, Walgreens, Publix, use of bicycles.

Pools were very busy. Would have appreciated access to snacks/ drinks on site. Rain...

Right on the beach. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. All beach requirements (umbrellas, towels, chairs …) available at no charge. Well appointed room. Small kitchenette functional. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Grills, games, lounges all available at poolside. Noise outside we could not hear in our room. Parking onsite and free.

Shower is the size of an old fashioned phone booth. Barely room to turn around or bend over. Two nights we were awakened by noises in the attic/wall above the TV. We think they were roof rats. Noise didn’t last long, but did wake us. Otherwise is was very quiet. Bed was extremely firm!

The location was excellent and was perfect for our honeymoon. We stayed in room 16 which was on the second floor directly facing the ocean. We loved sitting in the patio area outside and watching the sunrise each morning. It was not a private patio, but there was minimal traffic and other guests were friendly and respectful of the area reserved for our room. Bailey greeted us at check-in and was super friendly and informative. The facilities were very clean, and the maids were great! Some other things we liked were being able to borrow beach chairs and books! It was also so nice being within walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. We barely used our car the whole week and walked somewhere new for dinner every night. We definitely want to come back to the Windjammer in the future!

The bed in our room was not very comfortable, which was not ideal for our week long stay. New beds would make this the absolute perfect place for a young couple like us!
