I loved that the hotel was in walking distance to a winn dixie and a few restaurants nearby. The hotel is in a very good location to take public transport if you don't have a car. Very easy for delivery drivers to find. Kind neighbors and very kind staff. We had a problem with the sink, and the manager was quick to fix it. Pool was also heated and nice

Well.. the hotel is a bit outdated, especially inside with the broken cardboards, lack of utensils. There is no cleaning brush for the toilet. The elevator has a distinct smell. But these were no big issues, and we had a great stay

The pool was so secluded that it felt like you were on a remote island. They have music playing daily outside which is a plus. The room was very comfortable, even though it is a little outdated. The place was so quiet with no disturbances while sleeping. The front desk man was so sweet and went out of his way to help us check in and provide us with everything we needed.

We didn't like that the pool area is closed at locked at 8:30-9 pm. I would have loved to sit down by the water at a table and play music and cards after hours. I also wish the grill was propane and not charcoal. The grills need to be replaced. I also would have loved to have extra toilet paper and towels at arrival. When we checked in for our 4 days stay there was only two towels and one wash cloth in the bathroom and one opened roll of toilet paper.

The manager, Oliver, was absolutely incredible! He was extremely accommodating for us. The property is cute, quaint, and quiet and like stepping back to simpler times.

The communication was not that great between some of the staff. There was confusion about room numbers but we got it figured out.

Extremely close to the beach. I love that it's on the more calm side of the beach only because i truly hate dealing with traffic and trying to find parking on the beach during packed weekends. The balcony was perfect to sit out and night or day enjoying the breeze.

Room was a bit dirty but i know it was rushed to get us in there. We ran into some difficulties checking in due to previous guest but staff did work with us and changed our check out time which was appreciated. The mishap was out of theirs and our control but they did work to fix it as soon as they could to get us in the room.

Ocean Mile exceeded our expectations. The best things about the property are: 1. Location-within walking distance to anything & everything. The beach access is literally a 3 minute walk, grocery/liquor store 5 minutes walk. 2. Overall value- this is a very budget friendly motel. It has everything you need to enjoy a beach vacation without the beach hotel costs. 3. Oliver--He is the man. He's a Jack of all trades, he mingles with guests and calls you by name. Just having him there and so attentive to everyone's needs & wants is amazing. You definitely wouldn't find an "Oliver" anywhere else. 4. The pool area is amazing. Very clean, plenty of seating & loungers. Shade from all the vegetation, and a great sound system. The playlist will meet anyone's music tastes.

The location of our room was not the best, it had noise from the ice maker, cleaning staff & elevator. There was 1 staff member who was not super friendly and he would shut the pool down early or act annoyed when we needed ice from the machine. The only other thing was the a/c barely kept up, but it was also brutally hot during our stay.

Oliver was the best he was very accommodating to our very needs. We were not familiar with the area and he assisted us everytime. He made sure we had clean towels everyday and was not every complaining about going the extra mile. The maids made sure the rooms were kept clean. I would recommend this resort

The only thing I didn't like was the ac needed to be upgraded other than that our stay was amazing. We had two rooms both fully furnished which was convenient for us because we traveled with kids as well

Our room was comfortable and clean. But our favorite had to have been the pool area where Mr. Nacho the bbq guy (my hubby) was able to cook for the people we met in their spacious bbq area, plenty of space where you didn’t feel crowded and had both areas of sun and shade with beautiful greenery throughout. Beach right across and an amazing staff! Oliver, thank you for your time and attention and such a great stay! Till next time.

The Ocean Mile is an OLD FLORIDA MOM & POP Hotel you just don't see Around Anymore So DON'T EXPECT A ROBOT TO TURN DOWN YOUR BED OR MAKE YOU BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING. Even The Rates are Old Florida. Very Relaxing Pool Area, Well Maintained with Plenty of Plant & Tree Foliage around it you'd think you were in a Jungle. I Requested a Ground Floor Room & Received it without any Questioning.. Oliver one of the owners was out EVERYDAY Cleaning, Watering Plants, Organizing the Pool Area for Your Comfortable Stay. You want to go Back to The Old Florida Feel & Style of Florida. Try the Ocean Mile.

It was pretty clean except for some of the corners in the bathroom floor. The beds were comfortable. Parking was close and the pool was nice.

Lights were burned out in bathroom, a lamp didn’t work and the vending machine wasn’t working. We called to say we were arriving late and they left our room unlocked for us but no key. That was a little scary. When we left the next morning another car was parked so close we couldn’t get in the passenger side of our car.
