The Beal House Fort Beach hotel is so beachy! I love how it looks. Sean at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. He even called to make sure I got extra towels. He texted us the next day to see how we liked it. The hotel is right on the beach. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but we got Starbucks coffee every morning. I'd tell my family and friends to stay there. I'd totally stay there again when I go back to Fort Walton Beach.

The view & proximity to the beach was excellent! The room was clean & comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious! Every employee we interacted with was very friendly and helpful.

We were not informed that we needed to pay, much less reserve the beach chairs ahead of time (previous reviews were misleading saying the hotel provided them). That information should have been sent to me when the reservation was made.

Loved the location.

Last time I stayed here parking was free, chairs and umbrellas on the beach were free. I know it changed names and owners but you didn’t get the same value as before. I stopped going to the last place I stayed at because they started charging for parking. With the price you pay to stay there parking shouldn’t be extra.

The restaurant being right in the hotel. The staff (especially the manager) was super friendly to our kids. The hotel had its own private pool/patio area for seating/dining and private walk way for beach access. The hotel was clean and well kept.

The only down fall that I didn’t enjoy was the vouchers for breakfast. It was easy to forget them in the room or use them.

Great hotel. Anything above the 2nd floor has a great view. The restaurant was great. Laura, the restaurant manager, was amazing. Extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The pool is heated. Easy beach access.

In room fridge is too small and no freeze option. The balcony door will not stay open and has to be propped open. Parking lot is small and tight. Having to pay to park, especially in such a small lot. 2nd floor gulf view is limited. You can see the beach and the gulf, but too low to appreciate the emerald color. Also, rooms on the left (211) on the second floor, view is obstructed by the large palm tree.

we enjoyed our stay the new renovations were clean, comfortable, and had beautiful decor.

The man at the restaurant bar was rude so we only went there one time. the burger was good though.

My husband and I were pleased with this Hotel. It's very attractive. The room was very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping came daily. You are literally a couple minutes from the beach. Our room was a true beachfront.

For the price, the hotel should offer a free continental breakfast. We dined at the onsite restaurant "Remedy" four times while there and was very pleased with the food options and the prices were reasonable, however, I have stayed in less expensive hotels that are comparable that offer complimentary breakfast. The hotel's WiFi is unreliable. I use the WiFi a lot while vacationing and my laptop kept disconnecting from,the hotel's WiFi or giving an error, "Out of Range," yet, I was sitting in my hotel room. I surmise the bandwidth needs to be increased or the service upgraded. I ended up using my phone's hotspot my entire stay. Again, this should not be an issue considering the nightly rates for this hotel.

Loved the location and the views

The only negative I have is the restaurant. There weren’t that many choices on the menu for breakfast or dinner and the staff barely acknowledged you. And one day of our stay they didn’t even open until 8:00. The food itself was good along with the coffee. I included breakfast with my stay but if had to do it again I would definitely leave that part out.

Loved the view of the beach. Would have liked it more if we had been a floor or two higher.

There needs to be mats at the door way (inside or outside) and going out to the patio (inside or outside). There was too much "grit" on our feet. We also had housekeeping to come in our first day and to sweep the entire room. Nothing had been cleaned underneath the chair in the room.

What a beautiful renovation! The rooms were perfect, as was the Gulf view. The restaurant was great, too.

Parking was $15 a day. Totally unnecessary on Okaloosa Island, and unfortunately, a future dealbreaker.
