We arrived late, after a full days shopping at Sawgrass mills outlett/mall and a two hour drive, and found the hotel very easily - stopped at a Winn Dixie along the way (and several more times there during our days of stay) which we highly recommend, only about five minutes north. This was our last stop on our 10 day road-trip around Florida and it was the perfect spot, and hotel, to have two days of final lazy recreation before flying back home (especially after three intense days at Universal Orlando, Kennedy Space center and Sawgrass mills). The surroundings are b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, and only like a 30 second walk away down to the small harbor/pier/beach - i.e. the private little shoreline property next to a great Tiki restaurant with an amazing view of the sunset (and really good food). At the time of our stay all the hotels kayaks were being serviced, but we did go out on SUP's instead - in the calm, clear and beautiful waters (saw a Sting-ray lazily coasting by beneath us and several other exotic looking fishes). As in virtually all hotels we stayed in during our trip the AC was a bit loud, but a part from other hotels it wasn't actually noisy and didn't rattle - and like all others it kept the room at a nice and cool temperature in the otherwise very humid days we stayed. After reading reviews here on Booking I was afraid the water pressure would be an issue and I can say that there was a loss in pressure when turning the shower-knob to warm/hot but it stayed at an adequate stream, so no quibble there. Room was clean and smelled nice, beds were wide and of a suitable firmness and we had plenty of room. As an extra bonus, that set it apart from other hotels we stayed in during our trip, this room had a roll-down blind which managed to make it much darker than all others - very much appreciated!

Hotel Manager Sharon was a real gem of a person and really did her job well in welcoming us even with a number of people vying for her attention. All 4 of us thought the Starbuck's free morning coffee in the lobby was some of the best we experienced. Didn't get to spend much time in the outdoor pool and wonderful bay out back or other facilities, but they were certainly great additions to the value of the hotel room.

Hate the Short Sheeting on the bed where you must pull the bedding apart to get the sheet up to your neck. 4 of us in the room with two beds, but only towels for two. The $50 in hotel tax barely made the room affordable for us.

This was a late night last minute booking for my friend and I. It looked like a cute cozy Inn tucked back off of the Overseas Hwy. So we stopped in and Sharon,the lady working this evening was so friendly and accommodating to us. Basically the place looked booked, we lucked up on a parking spot when we pulled in and it just so happened the room we were giving was right in front of where we parked and on the ground floor at that ! All in all, Ms. Sharon was sweet and very personable to us. Loved her ! The room was very clean, smelled fresh, and the beds were extremely comfortable. What a great night's sleep that was. If you walked around back there's a nice pool area, a small swimming beach as it is a waterfront property. Several lounge chairs scattered out on the docks out back just to sit, watch and visit with friends and other guests while taking in the view. Bonus... cut thru the tree line and your at a great friendly tiki bar and restaurant named Snook's Bayside ! Loved the stay at Bayside Inn and our visit to Snook's ! If I or we are every in Key Largo again This will be the place I stay !

We were greeted by the nicest lady in the adorable reception area/giftshop. She gave us tips and helped us contact a local attraction that we wanted to visit. There was a yummy selection of free tea and coffee to go from a starbucks machine, in which guests could make anytime. The ice machine was also handy- We made iced coffee in our room. Beach towels were included with the room. We were offered to use the propery all day, even after checkout! There are cute little lizard creatures as well as loose chickens all around the parking area, which we loved. There are many shops and places to eat within walking distance. One can take a bike from the hotel and ride all around the island. Right next door is a beach resturant, which also had live music and a real "beachy" vibe. The food looked yummy too

We enjoyed the location of this property, the bike rentals, and loved the beach and pool areas. While other reviews complained about the noise level of the roosters in the morning, it seemed that they didn’t start until 10/11 AM once everyone was already up and moving.

The beds were very firm and we found them to be quite uncomfortable. Housekeeping came by and I asked for 3 towels (for 3 guests) and they told us we could only have 2? A staff member also walked into our room (without knocking) while we were getting ready for the day, us not realizing the door wasn’t latched shut. He said sorry and walked out as I dead-bolted the door shut. None of these things ruined our experience but definitely took me off guard.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Key Largo. It’s very well located, with clean and comfortable rooms that are surprisingly well soundproofed despite being close to the road. There’s convenient parking just below the hotel. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the lounge chairs — a lovely way to end the day. There’s a small beach area accessible from the hotel, though it’s not really suitable for swimming. A big highlight was the excellent restaurant The Shook right next door. We also appreciated the coffee setup in the room and the Starbucks coffee machine available for guests — a very handy and tasty touch!

The pool is a bit on the small side, but still nice to relax in.

I liked the heated pool. They had paddle boards and kayaks, bikes available. Also games for the kids like jenga , connect 4. Nice lounge areas. We saw a sting Ray, star fish, hermit crabs. We took fishing rods and fished off the deck, plenty of small fish to catch. The rooms were clean, except the floor. Just a short drive to Publix, Winn Dixie and other stores. Walking distance to Burger King , speedway gas station , Walgreens , cvs . There’s also a little dog park area

The beach area wasn’t too beachy like. Also they didn’t have blankets in the room. The pool floor made my daughter toes bleed . Not sure how but it happened .

The hotel is extremely well located. The beach area is lovely and the included kayaks and paddleboards made our stay wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. A very nice touch is the complimentary Starbuck coffee machine in the lobby. The stuff was extremely nice and overall I have a very nice stay.

The room was overall clean, however the floor in the room hasn't seen a mop in years. My feet were black after walking just a few steps. The water pressure could be improved.

The office staff was super friendly! We enjoyed how close the bay was to the hotel. And snooks restaurant was right next door.

The pool was dirty and pool area unkept. No towels stocked for pool had to go to office daily to get towels. . Pool only went to 4ft.. the motel room was filthy... you could not walk in socks or barefoot...the maids never cleaned the floors the week we were there. Room was not cleaned until after 3pm. Sometimes we get 2 towels 1 wash cloth . 1 day no clean towels we had to get our own. No extra toilet paper was left had to use kleenex. No lotion or clean cups were restocked. Shower and toilets were not cleaned. Bedding was not changed only made the bed the entire week we were there. . Just disappointing when we bought a pkg. And paid good money for it. The location is the only thing that saved the trip.

Overall a great place. Staff was friendly and they have a coffee machine with Starbucks coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Everything looked remodeled. Grounds and beach area are well kept. We loved the beach area. You can get in the water and snorkel, or take a kayak or long board out. They are included with the resort fee and are on a first come, first serve. Room was a good size, recently remodeled. Highlight was waking up to the roosters. They roam around with the chickens and 2 cats. We even saw the resident iguanas.

Beds were on the hard side and the floor seemed dirty and sandy. Bathroom was very clean. We wish they offered breakfast.
