I had a great experience. The staff made me feel welcome, with a seamless check-in process and genuine smiles all around. The room was clean, has modern amenities,and housekeeping was attentive and thorough, keeping the room spotless throughout my stay without any disruption.The facilities were top-notch! I particularly enjoyed the pool and fitness center. The location is ideal for both relaxation and exploration is conveniently located near nearby attractions, transportation options and shopping areas, making it easy to experience the best of what the area has to offer. Overall, I recommend Avid to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional service.

Super Clean. Great, helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was sufficient. It is not a waffle place which is good. Sheila set up the breakfast and made sure that it was well stocked and super clean. She was diligently mindful EVERY single time a guest used the area. She was always wiping up and cleaning and is a Fantastic Employee who REALLY CARES about what she is doing. I would hire her in a second as she is more capable and skilled than what she is doing and she does not complain or even hint at any problem. She never complained and was always happy and a joy to talk with. The front desk staff, all of them, also were the same. Every other hotel I have ever been to from the lower to higher priced hotels (Hampton Inn to Marriott and more) you could just feel that they were just there to get paid and do nothing extra. The staff must have been well chosen, trained and paid well or all 3. In addition the room was huge for a hotel room. More than enough space and if one was to have a party or gathering in that room, more than 15 would fit comfortably. Obviously not the bed or furniture but Wanted to indicate the shear square footage of space available. Many hotel rooms would barely have the square footage of the Avid bathroom. Probably too much space if that is possible. All around 10 stars for a clean, spacious, centrally located, easy to get to with courteous staff that makes the stay more personable, more homey. We will be using this Brand with comfort when we travel back or elsewhere

for a couple of nights or a little longer, really there is nothing else that anyone would really need. This place was wonderful.

Great location for our trip, convenient. Reminded us of European style hotels, basic on style and furnishings but efficient and clean. Very family friendly. Friendly hardworking staff. Good breakfast selections.

When we asked for a receipt(folio) for our stay, we were told Booking.com would need to provide same. When we contacted Booking.com, we were advised the property is contractually responsible to provide the folio. Booking followed up with the property, and the property emailed a folio to us. It was completely blank except for our name & confirmation number— it did not show any of the charges or fees. We feel this is more of a communication and training issue between Booking and the property. However, this disconnect caused confusion and inconvenience.

The room and hotel lobby were modern, new, and clean. The front desk person was pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was average, minimum, and ran out of the main breakfast staple causing a sizable delay in waiting. It was good for any in a hurry but not substantial in any way.

The room had a very uncomfortable mattress due to its overuse. It sloped badly to the edge, and I felt like I would roll off. It definitely needs a replacement. Unfortunately, as a new building, the desk already had damage to the top which is unsightly and makes for a bad and unmaintained building.

CLEAN, it was exceptionally clean. It was clean inside and out. It’s the first thing we always look for driving in to a place is what does the outside look like. If it’s dirty and trashy odds are the rest of the place is the same. But it was great. Checking in was also delightful for a change. So many places the people on duty display an attitude that you are an annoyance to them or they don’t want to be there. Everyone that was on duty while we were there gave off a lighthearted happiness that made staying there very refreshing as opposed to other places we’ve stayed. Pool was also very clean. Closed at 10:00 pm but that was ok too. If this company has and keeps this standard Holiday Inn and Hampton have lost my business. And we have given them a a lot of business in almost every state east of the Mississippi River and Texas. And the price was unbelievable for the area and next door to the Hampton.

Didn’t find anything and we looked for something.

We stayed here to visit the Kennedy Space Centre and Cocoa Beach so the location was perfect. The hotel is modern and clean. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is also included which was a very good surprise as the options were better than expected. Staff was also welcoming and efficient.

The a/c in the room makes a loud noise which is a bit annoying during the night. Only a fixed shower head so it wasn't very practical also the water pressure was a bit weak.

The girl working the front desk at check-in is AMAZING! So happy and friendly. After a long drive, someone greeting us that was honestly happy with her job, nice and welcoming is very refreshing. Nothing worse than feeling like you’re a burden to an employee. And the location is great!

I wish there was some form of a night light. My kids sometimes need to get up in the night to use the bathroom and the bathroom light is motion activated (kind of neat and I understand the reason) but a bright light saying “BAM” in the middle of the night is a lot and jolting. Especially for kids that I’m hoping will go back to sleep.

The staff was extremely friendly. Complimentary breakfast and the all-day tea/coffee bar were great. Loved being able to go down and make a cup of tea late in the afternoon.

It was nothing against the hotel, it was other guests letting their kids run up and down the hallways at random hours during the day. Also, letting them play outside in the parking lot where patrons are coming and going.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was courteous and helpful. I’m disabled and they were very accommodating and friendly. My reasons for NOT returning to an Avid property, would have nothing to do with any of them. I have been an IHG member since 1995. It’s one of the reasons I stayed at the property.

The only thing that could’ve made us better was if your establishment had the wrist key equivalent to when I stay at a Wyndham resort. As I stated, I am disabled, and I do not have the use of my hands so though I managed to open the door with the key, however I had to do so, by holding the key in my mouth which I shouldn’t have had to do. It’s humiliating and demeaning. It’s also the only reason that I wouldn’t return to an Avid establishment. If you had the wristlet key that would not have been necessary. Even if they were optional for those that are disabled, elderly or those with small children, it’s something that makes an establishment stand out and something you should consider very much so. FYI it’s what I’m offered at every Wyndham property I stay at.

The location was perfect for visiting friends in IRCC. All of the staff were very kind, friendly and fun to speak with... Please reward the staff at this hotel for the highest marks in your system. They were fun, kind and generous.

You actually do need to tell people that they can put the light blocking blinds down. Also, when you host a large group of middle school or older travel teams, some rules or audible controls need to be in place to keep the noise down. Please don't expect your staff to "police" the property.
