I loved the sunny areas with chairs and the little path to the beach. I loved that there was an outdoor shower as well. The wooden swing benches right before the beach was a nice touch. My wife and I spent a lot of time out there. The room was very cute and clean. Being able to walk out on to the beach whenever we wanted was amazing.

I think the area outside of the employee only room could have been a little cleaner. There were mops and other miscellaneous things sitting outside but it didn't deter us or impact our stay negatively. I also think the area where the beach chairs and beach items could have been more organized and not just thrown together. Our stay was wonderful though and these things are just minor things we noticed. We will definitely be back!

I was looking for a place on the beach that was reasonably priced for a solo trip for a couple days. This hit the mark. The place itself needs work on the exterior, but the room had been updated. I liked the keyless entry so there was no having to keep a card on me. The access to the beach was wonderful, literally less than a minute walk right to the beachfront. There were 2 wooden swings on the dunes that provided seating to watch the sunrise/sunset as well as a couple outdoor seating areas with tables. They had lounge chairs you could use and beach chairs you could take onto the beach. Located between Cocoa Beach and Melbourne. Was an easy drive to get to shopping and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming cottage right on the beach. It’s cozy, comfortable, and very well equipped — with sun loungers, a lovely grill area, and even a parking right in front of the cottage. The check-in process was fully autonomous, with clear and simple instructions provided ahead of time for both arrival and departure, which made everything very smooth. The location is excellent, with a beautiful view of Cocoa Beach, and there’s a fantastic seafood restaurant just 10 to 15 minutes away on foot. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money — we truly enjoyed our night here!

It’s steps away from the beach! The rooms have been updated and are very clean. The staff were super accommodating to us as we arrived well before check in due to our flights. They gave us a place to store our luggage and we were able to go hang out at the beach. The property is very quiet and has a great upper deck with seating to watch the ocean.

The beach chairs and beach towels that are listed in the description aren’t really available. There were 2 chairs that we found in their deck box that we used and it was ok- but those were the only 2 that functioned. It’s a bit of a drive to restaurants or stores.

Noticed several people (non motel guests) drive into the property while parking on the side which caused congestion in motel parking lot. Also saw non motel guests use the motels (guest only) outdoor showers. Watched as they literally walked across the street to off site condos. With that said, Parking can be a challenge. Did not want to leave at night for fear of not being able to get a parking spot! Would suggest the hotel put more signs warning non guests will be towed and/or providing car tags to display on dashboard to ensure motel only guests are parking there. Also never saw a hotel manager or front desk clerk, which was new to me. Not a problem for us, just an observation. Only saw housekeeping and had to ask for towels several times.

Our room was facing the beach and the little path down to the water. Can't beat the location! We loved that the motel is in a quiet area just north of the Air Force Base, so it's practically a private beach. If you choose to visit, it's all about that beach location and quiet vibe.

While we loved the beach proximity and quiet area, there really aren't many places to eat or drink within walking distance. Just be aware. Short drive to some great spots, though, so no real issues. We decided to Uber one night and it was a reasonable price to pay for access to some of the local places. Our room was tidy and small, with nice clean bedding and linens. Bathroom could have used a bit more of a clean, but it wasn't terrible.

AOTB is right on an easily accessible, clean, beautiful, uncrowded beach; the location just doesn't get any better. It's a short drive to grocery shopping and restaurants and the surrounding area is beautiful, safe and quiet. Based on the negative reviews I read prior to my stay, I'd say the proprietor has since made a 200% improvement in all areas. I can't give it a "perfect 10" because the refrigerator was dirty and the only light over the beds is a single, glaring, overhead light with no lamps in the room; and the way the the rooms are facing, there is no privacy when the blinds are up leaving the overhead light as the only lighting option in lieu of low-light or daylight. Otherwise the unit was attractive, clean, comfortable, and quiet, and checkin was pleasant and professional. I do recommend AOTB for the value and I would stay here again.

Put lamp(s) in the rooms; ensure the basic amenities are clean (refrigerator) and add privacy curtains to the window. Sheer curtains can be added to afford a measure of privacy when the blind is up during the day.

We stayed in 117 a queen studio. We had a full kitchen. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The bonus... not a stitch of carpet! The location was perfect, there were never more than a dozen people on the beach where the hotel was, and the beach was wonderful!

The second floor where we were was dark as night. It definitely needs some lighting on the inside of the walkway. It looks like it was lit up by solar path lights but none of them worked. I feel like some of the wood elements on the property could be sturdied up.

The location is directly on the beach ! Updated motel very clean. Hard working family owners more than happy to help.Away from all the action and restaurants nice and quiet.Not one little bug !! Small surroundings of condos had very nice friendly people. This beach is very private because of the location. Awesome place to watch rocket launch from beach ! Sunsets and sunrise beautiful. 2x

No ice machine. Coke machine was out of order. They did have beach chairs available but were all broke and unable to use. We ended up going out and buying two. Just remember if you book the first floor you could have very noise people above you.(no fault of the motel.) With a little work it could be 100% comfortable. I will never use booking.com again. This motel is located around several abandoned buildings and motels.

Everything! The location was absolutely perfect, We had a top ocean view room, and it was amazing to just look out the window and there was the ocean. The beach felt almost private! We had a gorgeous deck to enjoy right outside of our room where we enjoyed sitting and listening to the waves. The property also has a container of beach toys, umbrellas and chairs it was in the perfect location to make it easy for us to grab chairs before we headed down to enjoy the beach for the afternoon. The staff was incredibly friendly and made check in such a breeze not to mention they allowed us early check in and gave us suggestions on places to eat! Our 2 bedroom room with kitchenette was beyond clean even with sand everywhere! Plus we loved that they have rinse off stations once you come off the beach so you drag less sand everywhere! We would absolutely stay here again.

That we didn't have enough time! No member of our family had a single complaint!
