This historic hotel has old-world charm and a staff that work hard to please. The location is excellent, and enabled me to walk or take the Trolley to the places I wanted to visit. Traveling to my room in the original 1940s elevator with an attendant added too that experience. The bed was very comfortable, and the decor was lovely. The walk-in shower was easy. I liked that the hotel is eco-friendly and everything is environmentally-sustainable. The free coffee and water in the lobby and filtered water in my room were appreciated. I look forward to returning next year!

I never figured out how to use the tv; every time I turned it on, I would receive instructions in Spanish, but I speak French, so that was useless. The bathroom floor can be slippery because the shower is walk-in without a screen, so I recommend bringing slippers to avoid slipping. The storage unit for clothes was handy with a safety deposit box, but the left door was stuck, so I was limited with what I could put in there.

Staff were really friendly and always around to help, while not overly so that it ever felt invasive. I really like that the hotel delivers the packages to the room, which is a great plus for me! While it's a a renovated boutique hotel from a historic landmark and maintained a lot of those historic features, it seems to be mostly be on the aesthetics as the water ran hot quickly, the AC unit was not too loud, internet was consistent streaming, and everything was just clean and comfortable. The fact that I'm submitting a review about this hotel probably speaks a lot about the positive experience I had there!

Two trivial things came to mind - a waste bin by the desk, and robe hooks in the bathroom!

Well situated within walking distance of many restaurants. Small hotel, proving daily coffee and water in the lobby. Clean rooms with provided towels and toiletries. Bed was comfortable, blankets available on requests and comfy pillows.

Room lacked sufficient storage space/drawers for clothes. Desk did not have a light. Realize that this is considered a 'historic' hotel so furniture and feel is old. Key to room is a physical key vs. a key card. Not necessarily bad but the style of hotel.

Historical hotel in great location with easy walking access to what Coral Gables has to offer. The staff were very accommodating and the hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I loved riding in the elevator attended by a staff member to add some living history, and the Zucca restaurant located at the hotel had delicious food.

In shower, hard to get hot water. The bathroom could be upgraded.

The hotel's location in the heart of Coral Gables is ideal, with shopping centers, restaurants, and business hubs in close proximity. The value for money is reasonable, and they offer daily supplies of water and coffee in the rooms. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfy, towels are soft. Recommended!

This may be an infrastructure issue, but the hot water from the tap takes a bit of time to arrive, resulting in a noticeable amount of water wastage while waiting for it to heat up. The elevator is nostalgic and requires human assistance. It would have been preferable not to inconvenience anyone to reach my room. I requested a late checkout for an hour, but unfortunately, it was declined without the staff checking their system. Nevertheless, it's not a major concern. There's nothing else noteworthy to mention.

Lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious. The historic elevator adds a touch of personality to the hotel. The location is great for near by restaurants, bookstores and other cute places.

Parking needs to be taking into consideration. There is plenty of parking around the hotel but almost always for pay. You don't have to pay to park in the street from 12am-9pm. There is a for pay garage in front of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable bed, the coffee in the room is really good. You can get good breakfast downstairs (croissant, juice, water and coffee). The location is good. The people are friendly.

This hotel is perfect for holiday and exploring. But for me personally less convenient pre or post cruise. I didn’t like the restaurant downstairs, I’ve had way better Italian food. There is a lot of noise downstairs. It didn’t bother me but good to know if you are sensitive to garbage truck sounds in the early morning.

This is perfect place ~15 min from Miami. A lot of parking places and restaurants. This is second time that we stop in this Hotel. Guy in reception explained us how to pay for our parking in the street and it was very cheap if i compare to garage.

~1.5 years ago we had a breakfast (coffee and croissant). it was in the restaurant that is located in ground floor. This time the breakfast was different…

Loved the neighbourhood, safe , clean and upscale. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Used the valet parking situated outside the hotel. Trolley stop and buses close by to get to Little Havanah , South beach and all the sights. Helpful friendly staff.

Complimentary coffee, juice, croissants and fruit but no full breakfast included at a high end price.
