I liked that the beach was not crowded, the beds were comfortable, and we couldn't hear noise from our neighbors through the walls or corridor door. There is a kitchette in the room if you decide to cook. I have mixed feelings concerning the location because the size of the crowd was excellent for us, but if we wanted to do different type activities other than the beach we had to take the car. It's a trade off of which you value more. They do have jetski rental on the beach at this location.

The lighting in the room was dim. If you decide not to use the kitchenette it takes about 12 mins -20 mins depending on what you decide to eat and if you decide to travel Front Beach Rd or Hwy 98. Upon arrival the corridors looked questionable due to the fact it was not clean as the pictures causing concern. However, they have upgraded the rooms as mentioned in other reviews..

The location was great and very quiet as it was outside the main hustle and bustle of town. The staff was great, the facilities were as well and there was a semi-spacious room with a kitchenette that was stocked with necessary items like pans and plates, cups, etc. Beach was great! Very peaceful and quiet and clean!

The only negatives I found were that the beds were okay, but not that comfortable, and the elevator is VERY slow. The parking lot is also fairly small on one side and a tight fit for larger vehicles. There is also a $50/night damage deposit that was required, but was not listed in the booking details. For someone on a budget, that $250-$300 being held (and you have to have a credit card on file for them to hold it, cannot use cash) that could be an issue.

Good location away from the loudness of the strip and traffic. Right on the beach and wasn’t crowded

The parking isn’t so great, there’s a overflow across the road but makes it hard to unload all of your things. The beds are hard as a rock, woke up with hip and back pain the last few days , found some stray hairs in the bathroom but won’t hold it against them. But overall budget friendly and nice staff.

It was just the 2 of us but in our room there were 2 queen beds and they were divided or separated by the bathroom and kitchen area so that's nice if you have kids , each can be in their own space and not right next to each other. Kitchen area was equipped enough with basics(silverware, can opener, plates, bowls, glasses, cups and something to cook in, etc) There is NO blow dryer so bring your own from home(glad I did). Iron and ironing board provided. Plenty (4) of towels and washcloths. This is not a high rise luxury condo and if you are expecting that, you will be disappointed but there is something quaint and reminiscent about staying in a hotel/motel and we just loved it. It is upgraded so the flooring is lvp, beds have all white linens and spread and it's clean. Walkout to the beach was fabulous! It's right there. Loved the feel of "classic motel/hotel" with a bit of modern and no elevators to worry about on our ground floor unit. The photo is from inside our room.

The drive towards Thomas Drive and the Long Beach area is a ways but there are plenty of places in between. We stopped at Walmart once and stocked up, but there is a Winn Dixie not too far from Sugar Sands. My only complaints was there was only 1 chair outside on patio when we arrived and food was all over it. BUT, they cleaned it and brought us another chair quite quickly. Our front door had a hole / gauge by the knob that looks like it was damaged at the latch but it has a deadbolt too on both doors. This really needs repaired though.

It’s beach front, and to the right there’s not other hotels or houses so it’s not crowded.

The shower heads, the water was not strong enough. Very little water was coming out and the pillows are uncomfortable but I brought my own this time. Wish they had a body mirror.

It was a very good value, very clean, and really close to the beach. The front desk and housekeeping were all great.. Quiet end of the beach and not crowded, I loved my stay and will definitely be back. ✌️

I had to wait about 20 or 30 minutes when I got here, my room wasn't ready yet. They were behind, but it was ok I loved it here. If you need a hair dryer they have them up front, just ask. Overall all it's a great place for the value, best I've seen, especially at this price. And it's clean. You may want to bring more soap though, I ran out. I will definitely be back. ✌️

I like to call this place the hidden gem at the beach.. beautiful view directly on the beach. This was our 3rd time staying here.. we will return again.. comfortable beds and super clean..

Unfortunately salt air can cause problems and this place does occasionally have repair issues.. they are on it .. water issues, elevator, and our deck chairs broke.. I have stayed at 500 dollar a night places that have same problems The staff here is awesome.. hiccups come and go.. this place is on my forever list.

I wasn’t able to check in til 5 because they were behind on the cleaning of the room, should have been given a better rate because of this.

The resort was good overall, especially for the price. A few miles from Panama City Beach, which is nice if you want to be outside of the hustle and bustle. The traffic going to PCB was heavy due to construction, but manageable. I was not aware that the laundry facilities were across the street and ended up driving 30 mins away to a laundry mat, discovered the resort facilities on our last night there. Was my own fault, I should have asked. Additional parking also across the street. The main parking lot is tight and can be tricky to navigate. Overall, would recommend, the beach was fantastic!!
