The location is right on the beach, with a separate company who rents chairs and umbrellas, a pool, and a small restaurant with bar attached. This place was great! We loved the split room layout vs having both beds in the same room. This allowed for extra privacy with the kids. The facility and nice and comfortable. It is not an updated facility and is a little older, but we found it clean, the staff friendly, and we enjoyed being right on the beach! We were there forbthe beach and didn't spend much time in the room, orher than to sleep and change. If you're not a Ritzy hotel person, this is a wonderful spot. It wasn't in a heavily traffic area, either, with plenty of restaurants and small food places nearby! Definitely recommend!

The shower was a little odd to work and figure out.

There wasn’t breakfast available. We had a kitchenette so we went to Publix and bought some quick breakfast items, snacks as well as fruit etc. It was perfect for us.

Air conditioner didn’t work well. It was set on 60 but felt like 75. We didn’t complain though. No need for that. Would recommend fixing the two elevators. Only one worked at a time and extremely slow. A bit scary to use.

Staff was great, location on the West End nice and quiet, comfortable rooms / beds. For the most part, we liked everything about the place and have plans to go back already.

Here is where "for the most part" comes in. Although room was clean, ice bucket came preloaded worth bread pieces for the Seagulls. With attention to detail, this place could be 5 star. Landscaping or lack of upkeep took off points. Teen agers were allowed to run, dive, turning flips, shooting water out of hot tub etc. While staff could care less about the well being of the kids or other customers. They just said they were sending a maintenance person to handle it. When they did show up, they didn't do anything, even though one of the teenagers stated he thinks he broke his leg. These are all things that are easily controllable so I hope in the future, management can bring the team together to build a more solid vacation destination.

The location was good. The view was very good. The staff was amazing.

There was a strong odor of mildew when entering the room. Probably a result of not having an air conditioning, running and condensation building up on carpet and walls. The floor and the bathroom didn’t feel clean. The towels had hair on them.

Property clean and fantastic staff. Beds were surprisingly very comfortable. Room footprint albeit small was very well laid out with great use of space. Full size fridge and soap/shampoo/conditioner and lotion dispensers included made it real nice. Balcony view from 6th floor tower was amazing. Evening views without pool lights and no noisy people around during holiday booking made this an overall great stay. Also close to everything within a short drive.

Property was built in 1972 so has some age on it but considering the age, the property is well maintained and kept clean. Manager said they are planning a remodel in winter 2025.

Everybody was nice. Everything was friendly, but I requested a dedicated parking place and I requested to be in front of the pool since I just had knee surgery and I have young kids and I didn’t get either one. I ended up being on the other end of the motel from the pool And far is parking place just park where I could but other than that it was a great bunch of people they really were and I just wish that I would’ve got that because I would’ve got more time with the kids.

I had special request made a couple of them and I did not get either one of them so but other than that, they were great

I love the view of the ocean from the room, nearby restaurants with good food, and walking gate to the beach.

It wasn't updated, no plugs to charge phones, & the room had a bad odor.

I wouldn't say this is a resort. It was clean for the most part and a decent value for pricing. Staff was friendly.

To start, the check-in time was at 4. We weren't able to get checked in until after 6ish. They didn't quite clarify the exact reason why. Honestly, they could had comp something.The room was a bit dated, dingy looking, and dark. There was mold on the lamp shade, and the shower had cracking.. sadly, the hot tub, it was not hot. We came in on Sunday, and it was barely warm. Then they said it was the storm knocked out something on tuesday, and it was not warm at all.. While I still stayed in the hot tub, it just wasn't warm. So I really didn't get to enjoy it like I wanted. The overall outside appearance could have been deep cleaned and painted.

Great location on the beach and quiet. Gulf view was phenomenal. Room was clean, but dated.

No complimentary ice, there was a charge for bagged ice on site.

I didn't know that Sunny Side Grill was closed on Monday and Tuesday when we visited. It's not mentioned in the FAQ that it's closed. In general, I would like more restaurants nearby. Also, the room was a little dirty. The refrigerator was rusty and had black stuff on the outside. Toilet paper holder didn't sit in the groves of the arms, so as soon as you pull paper it falls into the trash. The lighting is weird. Looks like lamps were brought in to compensate. I would have liked an outlet between the bed and couch. TVs were small but that was advertised so it wasn't surprising.
