This older (I'd guess shortly post-WWII) motel is perfectly located for exploring St. Augustine. It has been beautifully updated in the past few years, and on-site parking is a great convenience in crowed St. Augustine.

Location downtown, walk to everything! Marion motor lodge is on the edge of downtown. It was a peaceful retreat. We couldn't hear the crowds and loud music at the Christmas lights but so close we could hear the peaceful clip clop of the horse carriages pass by. Loved the view of water, bridge of Lions, the marina with pirate ship. Dog friendly! Parking on site. Beds comfortable. Sheets smooth and fresh. Hot water in shower. It was our 1st pet friendly hotel, I was worried it would smell like other dogs, but it smelled like a normal hotel room. Perfect space in the corner for the dog crate.

Some areas of the room were a bit dusty, like the vanity at the sink, didn't want to put toiletries or clothes on the shelf. Not enough towels for 4 people on reservation but a nice lady in the office gave me more, when I asked. The TV had something wrong with it's settings, wouldn't go to any channels but the office people came to fix it when I told them.

We loved that our dog was welcome to stay with us We also enjoyed that the motor Lodge had that old Time feel, but it wasn’t rundown we could tell it was recently remodeled there maybe could be a few things still needing repaired but all in all it was perfect

I think our only complaint was the location of the AC window units did not really give both beds enough air the bed that was against the wall really didn’t get full AC to it so it was a little hot Maybe adjusting the bedding to cooling sheets or something would help

Great location, cleanliness, polite staff, good repair in the rooms, very comfortable mattress! shower cabin with tropical shower, everything is new and clean! and a wonderful view from the window! (we were in room 241) Many thanks to the hotel for a wonderful room! 🙏

I don't think this is a minus, but for me the pillows are a bit hard. The air conditioner is quite noisy, it is better to take earplugs (but this is almost in all hotels) if you have sensitive sleep, and you can only sleep in perfect silence.

The superb central location make this motel worth considering, especially as you can park your car here. Our room was big and the bedding was clean. The shower was good, with plenty of hot water. For a one night stopover, we had an acceptable night's stay. The beds are not the best. I wasn't uncomfortable but the beds do creak at every turn. The a/c works well but it's also quite loud. Look - it's not luxury but it isn't pretending to be. PS - We had no problem driving to hotel or parking our car - if you are from UK, don't be put off by the messages about the tiny streets and car park spaces - they are what we are used to.

Great customer service, super clean and great location.

AC unit was really loud and beds not very comfortable but with that said I would stay again. Just know what to expect.

Love the location, the friendly and inviting staff, and how safe it felt. The swimming pool was open 24/7 and that was awesome since it was very hot outside once you returned from seeing the beautiful town it was nice to go in and refresh yourself. Also, the front desk was very helpful in the places I needed to visit during my short stay.

It's not what I didn't like because I didn't mind I always clean the room especially the bathroom in any property where I stay. But just suggestions for the cleaning, maybe training the staff how to properly clean the rooms, especially in the little details, like I said it wasn't that bad but the property has great potential and there's always room for improvement.

Great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room view was awesome by marina. Well lit parking and by hotel door, nice decor. Friendly staff. Nice water pressure and plenty hot water. Good price for a Thursday night stay. Bed was comfy (king) coffee maker in room, mini fridge. Room was clean. We enjoyed sitting outside our room and watch boats , trolleys and horse carriage go by.Ice machine outside.

I know this is a older hotel and rooms were remodeled but few cons: not a big parking lot, alley way behind hotel, no bathroom door, sink in room instead of in bathroom, toilet faced side ways by wall. Pillows not to my liking. I'm wondering if our room was handicap.

Perfectly located to discover the historical district of pretty St Augustine. Nice porches and sitting area. Many restaurants nearby. Clean and with coffeemaker. Very helpful staff (Karen): our reservation didn't show up because of a Booking.com error, and the lady was kind enough to help us out. She even upgraded our room to a suite.

The hotel/motel doesn't offer breakfast or reserved parking (which we didn't need, there were still spaces on a first-come basis upon our arrival). The room that we got, had a lot of lost space and a relatively small and old-fashioned bathroom with a bad door.

The location was even better than expected, with O.C. White's restaurant next door and St. George's Street, along with the best in Historic Downtown points of interest in easy walking distance from our front door. Friendly staff, solid accommodations, and that proximity summed a very enjoyable adventure in St. Augustine for my family.

The bathroom was tiny and using the shower involved a hard to avoid burst of cold water, given its design. Not a major issue, but something that could be improved upon.
