The Old Powder House B&B was a very comfortable, extremely well-located property, in downtown and next to the campus of Flagler University. The Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Breakfast was very interesting and well presented. And the staff were very welcoming and prepared. The location was exceptional, close to all things downtown St Augustine has to offer.

The Property is showing its age, beyond the normal wear and tear. This did not affect our stay, however the antiques present out shown the room's condition. We spent time on both outdoor porches. They were comfortable and in keeping with the style of the B&B. They showed their age with arms ripped and the four-posted bed needing repair as does the wallpaper. A very good experience. Just not exceptional

The staff are great. Rooms are beautiful. Bed was great. The breakfast was amazing. The location is perfect - 2 min walk to great restaurants/cafes/shops in the charming old town. There was parking in the back (important because parking is difficult in the old town).

The water pressure in the shower was weak.

Location excellent, close enough to the centre of town but a little away to ensure a peaceful nights' sleep! Breakfast was well presented and very tasty, loved the all-hours coffee, tea, wine and snacks available in the parlor too. The swing on the upstairs balcony and the downstairs rocking chairs were an added bonus!

Maybe the option to see in advance what the next day's breakfast would be? If it was there, my apologies!

It’s located a couple of blocks from the old historic town. Dinner recommendations were excellent. Parking on the Premises is included and safe

only two negatives. Our room (Victoria Rose) was too close to the entry and the front door opening and closing was a little loud. The water pressure in the shower was too soft.

This is a gorgeous bed & breakfast that is well maintained and comfortable. The Victoria Rose room was right out of a period novel, as was the Parlor and dining room. Breakfast was delicious too. And the service was friendly and caring - the owner called while we were on our way to the property to see if we needed anything or if we were celebrating anything special. I casually mentioned that my husband and I had been married for 3 weeks but hadn’t been able to take a honeymoon yet, so we were just getting out of town for a quick weekend. We arrived to find a mini bottle of bubbly waiting for us! So thoughtful!

Nothing at all - we’d stay at The Old Powder House again in a heartbeat.

Location was excellent. Walking distance to everything in the historic district. The breakfasts were amazing. In addition, homemade cookies, coffee, wine and brandy were available every day.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

The room near the front door experiences a lot of noise. If there were a way to minimize the loudness of the door that would be great

The location was perfect. We were able to get to everything by foot fairly quickly. It was quiet and clean. The rooms have an old Victorian feel to it. The breakfast was included and pretty amazing I might add. The breakfast spot across from it was amazing as well (Maple Street Biscuit). The staff was amazing and very accomodating. Made for an amazing birthday, will definitely be back for another stay.

Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was very accomodating. We were allowed to check in at 2:00 p.m.
