The staff was very kind. Chad, in particular, was exceptionally friendly, helpful & sweet. We had a wonderful time, considering we were here for sad reasons - 2 funerals of close relatives. Being on the ocean hearing the waves crash, was wonderful, bc my late mom and uncle really loved the ocean. It was nice that they have a fitness center, too. We stayed in a King suite, with an ocean view.

The experience was lovely. I just wish tbere were more outlets, so we didn't have to charge my phone on the other side of the bed.

The manager, Robert, is amazing. I was double charged (once by Booking.com and once by the hotel) Robert managed to sort this out for which I am greatful as I have a couple of these same problems outstanding with other Booking.com reservations

the staff honestly made the experience SO MUCH BETTER!! we had a little situation with the pool being under construction but the GM Robert helped us out for the inconvenience. Stephanie the manager of the restaurant truly went above and beyond for us to make the experience great for our anniversary after a little miscommunication it honestly was amazing so thank you thank you!! Also to the employees Kayla up front for upgrading our room as well and Kyla our server we were extremely pleased overall with the staff you guys honestly made the experience !

The apartment we stayed in was in a perfect location with beautiful views of the beach and intercoastal bay. It was perfect for a family of 4 and the kitchen and bathrooms were wonderful. The apartment was recently renovated though still had the vintage architecturual design. The beach access, the pool and wonderful restaurant made it a perfect getaway. This was a perfect location for an evacuation that kept us safe and even a mini vacation. We would love to return.

The bldg is definitely much older though the staff has done a great job of renovating and keeping most of the common areas updated and clean. The stairs and hallways haven't been renovated in a long time.

Very nice and comfortable apartment style accommodations. It felt like a home away from home. The staff was very helpful and easy to talk to. The owner was very good as well. This hotel allowed pets and it was very clean. We stayed here while evacuating from Hurricane Milton. There were heavy winds and rain at times felt here too, but we felt very safe. This is a very old building, but it has been updated very classy. We will definitely return on better circumstances next time to just come and relax. If you are looking for a very quiet and relaxing getaway, this is the perfect place right on the beach.

The breakfast was just a continental breakfast with only bagels, croissants, and cereal. No hot breakfast. We had to drive off the island for a hot meal or cook in the room. The restaurant was only open for a short time and had limited selections that were very expensive. There weren't any activities or interesting places within walking distance besides the beach . The hotel has enough space to conduct regular activities for the guests to enjoy while they stay. Since there are many permanent residents living there as well, this may make it difficult to do. There still should be some regular organized events or activities that guests and residents can participate in to get them to interact outside of their rooms.

I loved the proximity to the beach and they had a great pool setup. The staff was friendly too.

The pet policy (dogs less than 40 lbs). We were not aware the dog needed to be less than 40lbs until after we checked in. We were on the property for 2 days with our border collie who is approx 60lbs. One of the staff members made a passive aggressive comment as we were walking by to another staff member along the lines of " I'm seeing a lot of large dogs around here. Last week, there was a pit bull." It rubbed us the wrong way. The staff member who checked us in saw our dog and never said anything. We felt on edge the rest of the trip and thought we may get kicked out.

Beautiful location, right near the beach. Room very spacious. Front desk staff upon checkin was very friendly, as was the weekend breakfast hostess.

Side views of beach. Thought it was going to be direct beach view. Property dated, but comfortable. Knew there wasn't daily maid service, but told it occurs on the 3rd day. Never got service. Room could have used a sweeping, as we were on the beach each day and no matter how hard you try to brush off, sand still gets in the room.

The Ambassador hotel was a wonderful surprise for the value. Very clean, very quiet, friendly staff, incredible beach access and location. We might just make this place an annual habit from now on. Staying here for our honeymoon was perfect. Wade and Briana at the Ambassador Grille, along with the other guests, made our stay welcoming and romantic! We couldn’t be happier with our choice in hotel.

There’s nothing we didn’t like! Other than the gym facility being a bit meager, but as to be expected for any hotel gym.

Views, location, old charm of hotel, was a condo coop until 2018. Built in 1947. Nicely renovated. Great staff. Live music at the bar in the evening. Best Aperol spritzer I've had outside of Europe.

Breakfast was crap. My wife and I just took the bagels and cream cheese upstairs. I'd give them a 1/10 for trying. But I'd still come back. Great fully equipped kitchen.

I had stayed in a wonderful place for the week in Key West, but when I extended my trip, I had low expectations for what I could get for the weekend. This find on Duval Street exceeded all my expectations.

Well, as a Queen, I just want to throw beads off the second floor balcony from my well deserved life perch. But that is NOLA, not Key West, isn't it. So I'm really on the fence about that.
