My favorite location

Overall, the hotel was beautiful, clean, and fresh. The decor and ambiance was stunning, and the staff was exceptionally kind and hospitable. Especially Tianca! She was really great! We did enjoy breakfast in the 1540 Room one morning, and it was delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay!

One issue we had was that the water pressure in the shower would change several times while using it. The water would also turn cold at the same time. I did not mention this during our stay because I didn't believe this was an issue that could be easily remedied and was likely due to the age of the hotel. Also, we had intended to use the pool area, but after realizing that the pool was small and the bar was not staffed/managed, we chose not to utilize the space.

The lobby was amazing but the location is what really sets this hotel apart from others. The beds were comfortable and the amenities are nice.

The pool was closed which is one of main reasons we selected this hotel and breakfast is not included, you have to pay hope it. Off street parking is not an option, valet only @ $45 per night.

The property was very clean, lobby was very nice. We stayed on third floor was dimly lit but clean hallways, cleaning staff was very nice. The pool area was really nice but bar wasn’t open(too early in season I guess). Pool was cold felt good after walking all day. There were plenty of towels.it is walking distance to everything in historic district. FYI I do believe there’s a ghost on third floor we had weird things happen including a small child yelling around 2 am I didn’t hear it but it woke my sister there was no one in the hall. It didn’t scare us it’s part of its charm.

Girl at coffee counter wasn’t very nice. Felt like we were bothering her for coffee we went else where for cup of coffee.

I liked the room. It was clean. The lobby and the layout of the facility was nice. The location was very convenient to everything. The staff was very courteous. The valet parking was convenient and even had the option for to leave out car and luggage after checkout for a nominal fee. The concierge was very helpful and even walked us to the site where we needed to stand to catch our tour bus. That was awesome customer service!

The gym was very small with not much equipment. There were only 2 treadmills and 1 of them was not working. Felt very dirty and cramped in there. A fire pit on the premises would be so nice. As there is lots of seating on the rooftop with just a small pool. There is ample space for fire pit.

The location and the room was great!

The pool bar was not open at all and had to ask multiple times to have room cleaned.

I loved the location of the hotel in the historic downtown Savannah

I did not like there was no fan or the AC did not run because I need noise to sleep.

Great location. Walking distance to Ll the squares and river walk. Restaurant at the hotel. 1540. Highly recommended. The bed was very comfortable.

The location is excellent, which was the main reason why we chose this hotel (in the historic district but not on the loud/busy part of town near the river). While small, the swimming pool is very nice and if you go there early morning or early afternoon it's very quiet and relaxing.

The room aren't well soundproofed. You'll definitely need earplugs if you're a light sleeper! There's no fridge in the room. Signs of aging that could be addressed - not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind.

The location is perfect for walking all around downtown Savannah. Corner room had east and south views of town. Large room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. They checked daily with to see if I needed anything. I usually stay on the park side that is quiet, but decided to try the city view side which was loud with street noise. The sounds did not bother me because it was lively. I wear ear plugs at night, so it did not bother my sleep and it was much more quiet later. Other potential guests might not like the sounds. I noticed a silver umbrella was available in the closet if it rained.

Housekeeping was sub par. Rug around the bed had debris on it, pantry closet appliances were dusty, and a previous guest's medication was overlooked on the bathroom shelf. Even though I confirmed I would arrive at 4pm, I had to wait an hour before housekeeping caught up. I just explored the area & enjoyed a coffee shop. I noticed that night that my towels were quite damp. I had to lay them over the chairs to dry. I also noticed that the housekeeper was chatting on her cell each time I walked to and from my room the next day.
