A traditional old house in the middle of the historic district. very clean and very central

the breakfast should include some savory options. the pastries chef is literally amazing and everything she does is excellent, but something like eggs (or other proteins) should be there too.

Everything was tops! STAFF IS EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. We hated to leave. This is our 3rd time at Ballastone & we will return in Fall. Breakfast was fresh & delicious, Happy hour had superb cheese/fruit platter & plenty of wine. Thanks to Stephen, Catherine & staff(forgot names) it felt like home. They even mad a trip to store to get non dairy milk for me. The Inn is gorgeous and full of antiques, close to river and shops- perfect location.

The person at checkout was very friendly and helpful. She helped us plan our walk downtown and our dinner. We later had a good talk with her in the evening. The house was centrally located and we were given a reserved parking spot. We enjoyed the beautiful lobby and breakfast. We liked the history of the house.

The breakfast was very good and we liked that it was available till 11 as being on vacation we did not want to have to rush anywhere. The staff there is very friendly and vey knowledgeable of the history of the Ballastone and Savannah. The staff spoke and treated us like they knew us forever which makes the trip even more pleasant. We can't wait to book again,

Nothing bad to say...This trip was very enjoyable. The staff that attends to to the Ballastone is what made our stay GREAT. Plus the room was elegant and very comfortable.

This place is one of the most historic inns in Savannah and very well maintained. The place is luxurious and the rooms are extremely clean. The hosts and cleaning staff were both really nice and made us feel at home. It's quite centrally located so everything was walking distance including the Forsythe Park and the water front. Would 100% recommend.

The breakfast was pretty good but I just wish they had allergen information on every item, lack of which made it difficult to try on some of them for me.

The location was fantastic! Close enough to River Street and City Market to walk and explore; but far enough away to not be disturbed by the lively night life. The Ballastone was full of southern charm and we'll definitely stay there again!

Great location, easy walk to attractions at the river and to our event at the Cathedral.

Because it is an older property, we could hear footsteps from most of the residents above us. Not sure what if anything could be done about it.
