The property is extremely well located at Chippewa Square, Park, and within easy walking distance of many of the key sites in the historic district of Savannah. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Charles and Dee.

While it was not too difficult for me to navigate, the house is older with many staircases, and if someone is older, or perhaps, may not be as mobile, the structure of the home may be difficult for them to navigate all the stairs. There are no elevators. Negotiating the stairways with luggage was quite difficult. The continental breakfast is very basic so if you’re a big breakfast eater, you might want to supplement it later in the morning.

I love staying at the Foley Inn. It was my second time. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The ambiance, especially at Christmas was beautiful.

The first time I visited a few years ago, they offered a full breakfast and a delightful spread of cheese, pastries and wine in the afternoon. They no longer do that, and I miss that. The extras like that were what set the Foley House Inn apart from other hotels.

Our stay at Foley House was truly unforgettable. The charm and history embedded in every corner of the room made our experience uniquely special. To our surprise and delight, we were given an even better room than the one we had originally booked, and it just so happened to be the very same room that Daniel Craig and his wife had stayed in. Knowing that such a notable guest had stayed there added an extra layer of excitement to our visit. The attention to detail in the room was exceptional, from the period decor to the cozy atmosphere that radiated character and comfort. Every element seemed thoughtfully curated, making us feel as if we were stepping into a piece of Savannah’s storied past. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home, and we enjoyed great conversations that added a personal touch to our experience. The welcoming atmosphere and the heartfelt interactions we had made our stay in Savannah even more special—no small feat, considering how incredible the city is on its own. Foley House is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience that enhances the beauty of Savannah. We can’t wait to come back!

Staff was wonderful. Large room with walk in shower. We stayed in the cottage house. Loved the shower gel and shampoo provided. Morning breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon cookies were an extra treat. Location was perfect and we had no problem walking to wherever we wanted to go. Enjoyed the peaceful courtyard in the back. Area is nice and quiet at night.

Room needs some maintenance. Sink was coming off the wall. Door to enter room was difficult to open as it rubs on the floor. Key to room also didn’t work a few times and had to keep trying. Some issues are to be expected in a home built in the late 1800’s. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but we used back gate entrance as recommended by staff and cut down on amount of stairs.

I was traveling alone and looking for a place I felt safe; just staying overnight and back on the road the next morning. Foley House is downtown in one of the squares. Parking can be a little tricky, but the staff were very helpful. One of our favorite restaurants/pubs (Six Pence) is within walking distance of the Foley House; so I could step out to dinner, have a peaceful moment in the square before returning the Inn to sleep. There is a private school next door, so if you're a late sleeper, be choosey with your room, but I loved the access to the small balcony to see the street. My room opened to a interior courtyard with a fountain that sounded beautiful at night. Breakfast was a serve yourself buffet with hot and cold items for breakfast. Gas station is not far away along with access to 16 to get you back to I95 or access to 17 then I-95 if you're heading north. It was a lovely respite to a long drive.

I love bed and breakfast so I expected more gourmet breakfast fair, but it wouldn't stop me from staying again. The parking is a bit of a hassle due to the street cleaning schedule, but that is across Savannah, not just the Foley House.

The Foley Inn was perfect! Our room was clean and historic. The air worked great in the room. Beautiful view out the front towards the square. Beautiful veranda with fountain, loved the stone work and stairs. Loved the staff who were so friendly, especially Dee. She was so cheerful!

The only thing we did not like was the rainfall ceiling shower head. It was non-adjustable and not enough pressure to wash my thick hair. Maybe add a handheld wand or a regular wall mounted head would work. But it would not prevent me from coming back.

It’s actually a mansion but it feels very warm and welcoming. There is a secluded backyard where you can have a cup of coffee or a drink. The room was very spacious, spotless and all appliances worked! Wifi was unusually rapid. Breakfast, homemade and served with care. Location, perfect. The Inn staff, Chuck, Faith and Deedee, helpful, knowledgeable and funny.

Being literally at street level, we could hear everything and everyone, especially the guests going up the outside steps and chattering on their way. Fortunately people don’t stay out too late.

The staff was exceptional in every way! DeeDee, head of housekeeping, went SO FAR out of her way....literally to help us. She chased us down in our car to help us locate our parking spot! NO LIE! It was a first in my life, having traveled literally around the world. I say this not to boast, but to compliment this young lady for being a unique and thoughtful employee. She simply made me pause in life to recognize her uniqueness! Faith was a dear at the front desk both at checkin and checkout, personally walking us to our room and making sure our questions were answered.

such a beautiful old building! it was very fun to stay in a piece of history! the breakfast was good and the location was amazing! i was able to hit all the places i wanted to explore in savannah using the inn as a hub!

parking was a bit of hassle but thats no fault of the inn i was able to find a spot eventually and then i moved my car closer to the building once the city crowd died down :D they also have a loading zone for when you arrive so you can get all your bags and what not in your room before finding a place to park

The property was a beautifully restored building with so much charm! The staff was so friendly and welcoming!! Location was exactly in the middle of everything! Making it possible to walk to any attractions or restaurants in just minutes! Foley House is exactly what you would imagine when someone says Southern Hospitality! We would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants to embrace the historic Savannah!

Not a thing! We had a small misunderstanding concerning payment when we checked out which they promptly fixed. I would not change a thing!
