My daughter and I were there to prom dress shop in downtown Statesboro. Loved the lodge and the decor. Super close to town. Very clean and every thing was rustic and just felt very cozy. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. I liked the self checkin.

We had the property to ourselves when we got there. About 11pm we heard the next door guests come in and could hear every word they spoke. We also could hear the gentleman snoring all night as if he were in the room with us. Thank goodness for the included sound machine that helped a small bit. It did get warm, so I would bring a fan next time. The neighbors got up early, and could hear them all over again. They were staying again, so made it easier to decide to head on over to Hartwell to dress shop vs staying another night.

Great lodge. Great stay. Easy and clear instructions for check-in. I checked in late. Beautiful downstairs common area. Nice swings outside. I did not use any of them, but they had grills outside, and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils. There was a nice dining area, and games and other things to play in the living room. I did not go into the laundry room, but it appeared that it was for guests. Our room had two single beds. It was a small room and a small bathroom, but it suited our needs.

Fridge was cleaned out but not wiped down. It really needed it. If you are a very light sleeper, bring something to cancel out the noise because you can hear the toilets flush in other rooms.

i liked how comfortable and homie it felt, it was really fun for me and my friends to stay we all really enjoyed it. we were pretty far out but close enough to go places. the aesthetic was super funny to us for no apparent reason.

the problem we had was no staff was actually in the building, we had to call to get the door code and ti get the thermostat turned down. it was incredibly hot in the rooms to which we asked for them to be turned down, they were but only a few degrees. it was very very warm.

Unfortunately we did not get to stay and see what the breakfast deal was about. We woke up later than we expected and had to rush out. Great experience overall, would stay again.

The only thing I really had an issue was there wasn’t an iron or ironing board in the rooms like in hotels usually. There could have been one on site I could have asked to use but I didn’t have the time to ask. I know the location is more of a hunting lodge than hotel but it’s one thing I would have liked.

Great little place to stay! A little bit outside of town, but still conveniently close. Would definitely stay here again!

I was disappointed because I thought breakfast was included.

I love the coziness and ambiance of this magical place.. it was beyond expectations! The bed was so comfortable. immaculately clean lodge. great value.

Love the lodge. This is our second time staying here.

Our room got really warm during the night and had no way of knowing how to get air turned on.

This place is soooo peaceful. It is a beautiful lodge. The room was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice flat shaded dirt road to walk in the morning. Only had contact with attendant thru phone and text and they could not have been more pleasant, helpful and professional.

Beautiful lodge, secluded, quiet. it has a nice kitchen, places to sit outside comfortably, pool table, foosball and other entertainment. The entire lodge can be rented and would be great for family or friends to gather. The owners are very accommodating. will definitely stay again!

The rooms are small but we weren’t there except to shower and sleep.
