Loved everything about this property! The aesthetic, the amount of things each family can do without leaving the property, making it feasible for kids and parents to enjoy their time as well, safe, friendly, relaxing, beautiful views, can leisurely swim, relax on beach and snorkel from the same space. We usually travel to many sides of the islands and it was actually easier to get to Hilo and Volcano side through Waimea than from Kona. If you get a room on top floor you can see either the sunrise and or sunset from your room. Highly recommend.

A resort in a class of its own. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurants and a fantastic garden bar with live music for dinner. Very good breakfast buffet. Very beautiful pools with a great service.

All the sun loungers on the beach were occupied. There were numerous special loungers available, but you would have had to pay an extra $200 per day for them. As we only wanted to stay for about an hour, we decided not to. The prices for the golf courses belonging to the hotel (Mauna Lani South) were extremely high.

Would have liked to stay longer... Addition of a "middle" restaurant (Main restaurant great for breakfast but "restaurant food"/ lunch/dinner.) A solution (how?) to the necessity to reserve beach chairs vey early

The property is tranquil and sun drenched, with many thoughtful touches to make the pools, common areas, and the beach welcoming and delightful. The staff was also very great, including little things like a pregnancy pillow in our room upon arrival as it was our baby moon! We loved it

We stayed at the Four Season following Mauna Lani. Mauna Lani had much more accessable beachfront and accessable spaces. Really enjoyed.

Music in the common areas, by the pool seemed to never turn off and was audible in the room during the night.

Understated elegance. Appreciated the sandy / rocky beach. Pools and poolside restaurant protected from the trade winds. Appreciated what was included in the package. Staff were fabulous. Shuttle rides and bikes for easy quick ways to get around the property were examples of nice touches.

Minor things that were corrected without hesitation.

Beautiful resort, beautiful weather and nature, onsite cultural experts, friendly service, quiet and comfortable rooms, an attention to authentic Hawaiian culture, and more.

It was beautiful but quite pricey, with extra costs for several activities like snorkling and playing tennis. The food in all the restaurants and by the pool was also very pricey, although very good.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean and well decorated. Many nice touches like cold water waiting for us when we arrive home each day, beds turned down, free laundry room use with supplies, welcomed with lei and cold drink at check in, etc.

Location is a little further from other towns and sites on the big island. However I would definitely stay here again.

It was lovely, but expected a bit more given the price (e.g., pre-arrival communication could have been better, wear and tear affecting the room, soundproofing between rooms with many young families also staying)

Loved everything about this hotel, it was simply breathtaking. The facilities are excellent as is the food and service. We did the sunrise outrigger activity and it was a highlight of our trip.

Besides being expensive (and we were on the Aussie dollar) we cant fault the hotel
