The hotel is very well managed. The rooms are comfortable with amazing beds and very spacious. It was cleaned and serviced daily with high quality toiletries included. The staff was very friendly and I found them to be very accommodating with early checkin for only 30 dollars. They offer a decent breakfast too and there are restaurants around. It is about 20 minutes drive to St Louis downtown. It’s great value for money and you have everything you need there! We will be staying there again when visiting family in Collinsville.

Coffee could be stronger and the air-con in the room was very cold and I didn’t see a way to regulate it. Other than that, really nothing to complain about.

Very comfortable beds, friendly staff, they had an excellent breakfast selection ( four different juices to choose), pancake and waffle maker, a choice of regular scrambled eggs or cheese eggs. Both white and wheat for bread options and both link and Patty sausages. Finally they had oatmeal, tea and coffee (24/7 for the coffee). They had a huge television/satellite channel selection. They are conveniently located directly across from the Gateway Center, the bus stop is right by the property and for a dollar you can get to several different stores and restaurants in Collinsville furthermore they have two restaurants in walking distance to the hotel and two fast joints for quick burgers and fries. While we stayed there we also got a pizza delivered in less than 25 minutes. They provide a refrigerator and microwave (both top tier) in the room.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact I had to leave.

We stayed for two nights. I did not expect too much since this is not a five-star hotel. However, I was happy that the room was clean and tidy. The elevator is outdated, but it works. The dining area is small, but it’s okay. The breakfast options included pancakes, waffles, sausages, scrambled eggs, muffins, bread, cereal, juice, yogurt, and coffee. I would like to mention that the hotel is conveniently located near Walmart and several fast-food restaurants. Also, the staff were all nice and kind, which made our stay even more pleasant. It was our first time booking La Quinta in St. Louis, and I am a satisfied customer. Thank you!

This property is across the street from the Convention Center, which was the principal reason for my choice. The room was clean and serviced daily, which is better than many other two star accommodations. Bathroom was functional and had a full set of towels which were changed daily. Refrigerator was on and kept a couple of beers cold. I wouldn't recommend it for perishable items.

Breakfast was OK. Sausage was good, scrambled eggs and omelettes had cooled off too much and were not very appetizing. Several other options were available. My son and I had a room with two queens. There was one desk chair and one lounge chair. The latter could not be positioned under a reading lamp.

I loved the location. There's walmart starbucks Dollar Tree and some good food spots within 5 minutes of the hotel. Took us 16 minutes to drive to the arch. Felt very safe travelling with my daughter. The room was clean, had lots of towels and the bed was very comfortable. The ice makers worked, which is not always the case at hotels! I will be back! The fridge was perfect. The breakfast had good options, including omelets, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc.. Overall, very pleased!

Nothing bad to report!

Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was good however, the area where you prepare your breakfast got crowded. it would also be a plus if you would mark the egg products. It is a pet friendly hotel so be prepared to be awaken by barking dogs.

The shower setup was difficult to use due to the fact only one door slides causing you to step in the shower to turn on the water which results in a blast of cold water to start your shower

The property itself was very clean and well kept. It smelled amazing once walking in.

The only thing I didn’t favor from my stay wasn’t about the property itself, more so the actually bedroom. The AC was off when we entered and it was very hot but the room itself was beautiful. We turned the AC on and it took a little while for the whole room to cool off. Other than that it was perfect. Also I’d be cautious of the tub when showering. It was quiet slippery.

The beds were comfortable but could maybe be replaced soon as I found a large stain on the side of the mattress while inspecting for bed bugs, which I did not find any of. It felt clean and comfortable. The AC unit did not make any loud, uncomfortable noises throughout the night. It goes as low as 61 degrees which was awesome during this insane summer heat. Breakfast was okay. The waffle maker had some sticky burnt stuff on it. I made an extra waffle to hopefully pick up some of the burnt stuff but the second waffle stuck worse so we didn't make a third for my partner. It seemed like the waffle machine hadn't been cleaned recently. The waffle I made tasted fine, and what I would expect at a hotel continental breakfast. My partner ate the scrambled eggs and sausage and really enjoyed them. He said the eggs were seasoned very nicely. The juice machine was great! It's a very safe area. Away from the interstate but still close enough that it costs no time to get back onto the road. Parking was available and not difficult to find. Lots of food options around too!

The elevator seemed a little sketchy but it never made any weird noises while we used it. The walk-in shower was nice since I personally do not like tubs in a hotel room but they seemed a little older and like they needed to be replaced/ re-done soon.

The staff was very helpful when we requested extra towels and luggage racks. The beds were the best of the seven we slept in during our three week travels. The flavor changes to the waffle batter was fun and the slight variations in the breakfast menu was a good break. The staff went above and beyond finding three luggage racks for our stay and extending our stay in the same room when bad weather caused problems for us the day were were scheduled to leave. Really impressed that they had cranberry juice, too. Over all, it was a great base to visit our family in the area from.

The AC was not great, had to turn it way down to keep the room cool anywhere beyond the first bed and the desk, and the room didn't originally have any luggage in it. The bathroom counter space was small for even two adults let alone three of us.

Everything was clean and they had a great variation for breakfast. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, toast, cereal, and lots more. The staff was very nice and helpful and understanding of our needs.

We had troubles with the people below us saying we were being to loud and all we were doing was walking. So if you have kids I recommended you request a room on the ground floor. They needed to work better during breakfast to make sure the trash cans erte empty.
