The hotel room was very clean, beds nice and comfortable. The check in person was super friendly and helpful. She gave us maps and showed us where to go in the State Park. She also gave us a dinner recommendation. The hotel is in a clean, well lit area near the highway. It’s a short drive into downtown. Downtown is safe for walking around. We were very happy with our stay here.

The room was great and the the staff was awesome. From the woman who checked us in and gave a great recommendation for a place to go to dinner. The woman who was taking care of breakfast was so friendly and helpful and finally the gentleman who checked us out.

Room was quiet and beds were clean and comfortable. Room bathroom was clean. Coffee was good and made early at 5am. Lady staffing the dining area was friendly.

Plastic wrapped coffee cups were a bit a nuisance for morning. Bathroom off the dining area was not clean - waste bin full, floor dirty.

Breakfast was good. The signs mentioned protein like bacon or sausage but both mornings there wasn’t any meat z The breakfast lady was so kind.

At first our television had no signal, but Lucy came down and tried to fix it but couldn’t. She quickly changed us to another room. Thank you.

Fair, not many options. Coffee tasted like warm colored water, had to spend $30.00 at nearby Starbucks to satisfy caffeine cravings.

Somewhat noisy on both sides of the room . Floor made squeaky sounds as you walked from sleeping area to bathroom.

The breakfast was great!

We were a little disappointed that the indoor pool area was extremely hot and humid. As a result, we were unable to enjoy the pool and hot tub for very long.

Convenient location to Starved Rock State Park, complimentary breakfast, guest coin-op/online pay washer and dryer. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby.

Hot water runs out fast! Fluctuates with cold spurts anytime but you're getting a cold shower in the morning for sure. Hot tub smelled like a mildewey sponge.

The location was good and the breakfast was very good. The waffles they served were to die for.

The bathroom could've been cleaner. It looked like rust in the bottom of the toilet that could've been removed if cleaned properly. Maybe I'm too picky, but I felt it needed some attention.

I was overcharged for room. Booking .com said it would be 264.18 but it ended up being 340. I contacted them and they adjusted the price so it ended up being right. Easy to work with.

Pet friendly. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Convenient to the highway. Restaurants and gas stations are nearby.
