Almost new. Everything was in good order.

Staff very distant. Breakfast was just OK…..

Location is ideal for Notre Dame activities and is close to the South Bend airport. The facilities have the sheen of newness and careful maintenance. We were surprised to find such a clean venue. The lobby includes a spacious leisure area, which means an ambiance for pleasant conversation. Rooms are neat & clean in the details that matter: bathroom, beds, floors, rugs, furnishings. The desk staff was helpful, patient, sympathetic. Friendly engagement and patience in communicating are valuable assets of this facility. We rate this hotel a "ten" for clean, modern facilities, customer focus, and modest pricing.

There were no detractions to mention.

Our flight was delayed, worked with us and had everything ready when we showed up. Amazing shower, spacious, and the massaging shower head after a full day flying was fabulous! We had a large king room which was very comfortable. Bed was great, pillows were not too hard—moldable—and the towels were fluffy. All the things you want for a hotel stay. Bonus: hubby got down there late, but they let him in to grab breakfast to take up to the room. Fairly decent selection of protein options.

Had to ask for a hair dryer because it was missing from the room. But they had one for us right away, so it isn’t really a dislike.

The hotel lobby was clean, organized, and smelled great. My family arrived late in the evening on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The desk attendant was very nice and accommodating. Our room was clean, the shower was nice and hot. The pool area was clean and well heated. The breakfast was nice; my kids and I had fresh waffles, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, juice, and sausage. There were other items such as cereal, bagels, pastries, toast, and eggs. The breakfast attendant was nice enough to put out more sausage for my mother after breakfast time had technically ended. The pool water was not too cold. We had an all-around pleasant experience.

Clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed. Loved the walk-in shower which had good pressure, lots of hot water, a free-flowing drain and handy soap & shampoo dispensers. Plenty of space around the sink to set toiletries and also lots of space in the room to set luggage. Good lighting in the room and there was a chair in addition to the one at the desk which was convenient for two people. Easy parking. Reasonable price. Martina at check-in was welcoming and efficient.

Our room and bathroom were very nice. The only small suggestions I would make are that while it’s great to have soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower, it would be nice to also have a shelf if you want to use your own. Also, a grab bar in the shower would be great — almost all hotels now have them, even in non-disability access rooms. And finally, there were no bars in the bathroom to hang bath towels if you want to reuse them. (There were a couple of hooks but not really conducive to drying towels.) Despite these minor issues, we would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

We stayed twice on the front end and back end of the trip. The first time was excellent. The rooms are nice, clean, and the bed is comfortable. The first room was a king and it had light canceling curtains. The second room, was a suite. It was larger, had a sofa area, two televisions, and a desk. Also, very clean and comfortable- the only issue was the curtains were light gray but sheer. The staff were very helpful and the area was safe and quiet.

The second visit, at the end of the trip, we had to ask for a new room because someone had clearly smoked in our room previously and it triggered my asthma. The cleaning services should have noted that and held the room for deeper cleaning. The room the front desk woman, who was excellent, provided a new room, which was very nice, but the curtains were see through and let a lot of light in. We were awakened as soon as the sun came up. Additionally, Breakfast is from 6-9 am is too early for a leisurely stay. Especially in the summer time, it would be nice for breakfast to end at 10 am. We missed it all 4 days.

The location is excellent, ready access to main roads and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The breakfast is basic but very good quality and the hot food is kept up so that it doesn't get cold. Coffee is available 24 hours a day from a fresh brew system in the breakfast area. Everyone on the staff that I met was polite, professional, and knew what they were doing. Parking is plentiful and the grounds are very well kept. A bonus for old people like me is that the floor of the shower is textured to minimize the chance of slips and falls.

There was no peanut butter on the breakfast buffet but the cream cheese spread was an almost adequate substitute. When I walked into the room, the thermostat was set at 66, a bit chilly for having just come off the road. If this seems like minor nitpicking, that's because it is.

Martina the front desk clerk was AMAZING! Very quick check in, extremely friendly. The room was very clean, no stains, no cob webs and was spotless. The decor was very pretty and even the GM seemed to be engaged as I even saw the GM picking up small debris as she walked around. I later came down and asked for restaurant recommendations from Martina and for the two days I was there, every single recommendation that she gave was a hit! I had a bad experience as a Laquinta in Illinois about 10 years ago and only booked this hotel because of the availability. The team you have here has completely changed my perception of the brand and now I will be coming back to this hotel every time I’m in town. Kudos to your team.

New, clean, and with nice amenities.

There was a major disturbance involving police at the entrance and front desk on Thursday, July 10, after we checked in … and seedy type individuals hanging out near the entrance and lobby. The hotel gave a seedy vibe despite its newness. The clientele and conditions improved dramatically for the better throughout the remainder of our stay.

The building and rooms and nice! They were clean and we felt very comfortable there. Also used the gym and it was much better than I was expecting so very pleased with that. Breakfast was sufficient and basic as expected.

We got woken up at 6 am by our bedside alarm as did others in the hotel. We had not asked for a wake up call. Could hear other alarms going off too at the same time. There was also an oddly large gap between the floor and the door to the room. Otherwise great place to stay!
